20 great moments in liberal bigotry

Do not make the mistake of thinking Harry Reed’s recent comment that President Obama might be electable because he’s light-skinned and doesn’t have a negro dialect is an isolated event.

In fact, there are so many inappropriate liberal comments that we’re thinking of opening The Liberal Bigot Hall of Fame to honor the best of the best. Each of the following liberal icons would get a nice brass plaque featuring their face and most bigoted quotes.

Of course, Robert Byrd (D-WV) was a unanimous first round selection into the Hall.

  • In 2008, people voted into office a bi-racial president with a Muslim father because he offered a message of hope to the people of America. When those people later disagreed with plans that were being put forth by this president because they saw something wrong in it, those very same people who voted for him were called racist. Honestly, the grand majority of us do not care about skin color anymore...we care about the content of one's character, just as Dr. King's message says. It is only those who make money or get power from the belief that every "white" person is racist who keep stirring the pot and creating anger towards persons innocent of those crimes, and turning bored young people with little hope into murderers.

  • Liberals just seem to be so out of touch with the people they represent.
    I actually agree with Senator Byrd though. We should talk less about race and focus on individuals. Talking about racism all the time spurs more racism.

    • Patti I agree with the statement about talking about race, Since we are all humans and are pretty much the same except for some shades of color. Who cares what color you are? It's whats inside the person that counts. There are shit disturbers in all colors, and there are some wonderful people and they come in all shades. but the guy who you are quoting was a member of the KKK at one point, and I don't care how much he pretended to be reformed, he was still evil. Who Knows what evil lurks in the hearts of man?

  • The greatest racist hits of liberals...Damn that's powerful stuff. Yet like that Janeanene Buffalo (Garafalo) woman she will never accept it and keep insisting Herman Cain has been bought and paid for by conservatives to prove they are not racist. That should have been high on the list. Its that kind of thinking that shows just how stupid and racist liberals are.

Tyrone and Nurse Ratchet are staying away from this thread like it's typhoid...Guess its hard to defend racism when its your hero's spewing it out.. either that or there will be some cut and paste bullshit that wastes space and has nothing to do with this thread.

    • I don't understand why people continue to generalize. I didn't vote for Obama. I am black. I am certainly not a fool. I am sure a lot of Jews would feel the same way. Generalizations like this is the hallmark of ignorance and perpetuates the problems that we are having in this country.

      • I understand why you would think that about generalizations, but blacks & jews do vote overwhelmingly democrat. I do get it to some extent with jews, & it's because most are socially liberal, & many also hate Israel & blame them for the conflict they have always been engaged in. Blacks seem to have been bought off by LBJ's "Great Society" crap. Most black folks I know are fairly conservative socially, but too many seem to have embraced the victimhood preached by Revs Al & Jesse, & that's sad. Blacks vote democrat, I get it, in the general election, that made sense. But in the primary vs Hillary, the black vote went overwhelmingly Obama, & I think THAT was about race, since Hillary & Obama are very similar politically, both very liberal, so I almost have to believe it was about race. Am I wrong?

        • Perhaps it is best to say a good number or a vast majority instead of the Jews and Blacks alone as that can lead to the generalization that all jews and Blacks vote democrat or liberal which is a fallacy. So when you say blacks it is best to say some numbers or some percentage, etc. . Most black people are conservative socially (hence why proposition 28 failed), but yes there are SOME that do subscribe to liberal agendas and even though black (social and/or fiscal/governmental) conservatives may be a minority within the black community they do exist. It would be a fallacy for me to say "Whites fall into the idea that their country is being taken away from them by people of color" right? There may be some whites that do but not all and I certainly dont think it is a majority either.
