26 of the 57 states now suing the federal government to stop ObamaCare

Those bible thumpin’ maniacs in Kansas just joined 25 other states in a suit against ObamaCare. Why, unless our math is wrong, that means almost half the states don’t want this bloated pig of a law.

26 states down, only 31 to go!

Heritage.org has the details:

…It is also why the newly elected governors of Ohio, Oklahoma, Maine, and Wisconsin have all decided to sue the Obama administration in hopes of stopping Obamacare.

Specifically, Gov. Mary Fallin of Oklahoma has announced that the Sooner State will pursue its own case against the law, while Govs. John Kasich (R) and Scott Walker (R) (of Ohio and Wisconsin respectively) will add their states to Florida’s multi-state suit. And yesterday, newly sworn-in state Attorney General William Schneider announced Maine would also join the the Florida litigation. That brings the number of states on the Florida suit to 23 and the total number of states suing to stop Obamacare (which includes Virginia and Oklahoma) to 25.

And Kansas makes 26. Can you say, “Consensus.”

  • somehow i am surprised that this is not being heavily played in the news. Liberals fill their mouths saying that the American public does want this.

  • where I am standing, that means there are 31 states(using obama's 57 state number) who are led by people not upholding their oaths, and not doing the business of the people.

  • To paraphrase Meeechelle: "For the first time in my adult lifetime, I am really proud of my STATE!" (Florida). Not that we have a chance of getting this abomination of freedom repealed until after 2012, but it's encouraging to know that this state and others aren't completely populated by marxist dolts.

  • Do not expect CT to get involved thanks to the mega-globalist progressives like Obot governor DANNEL Malloy! I am really thinking about getting out of this nightmare of a state.

  • This Obamanation needs to be laid to rest in a deep dark hole and dirt shoveled in on it. I'm proud that my state's governor is in on this.
