The United Nations may not be good at much, but they are absolutely world class when it comes to issuing scary press releases. Unfortunately, they’re not quite as good at reality.
Andrew Bolt revisits one of the corrupt organization’s dire warnings from 2005:
Amid predictions that by 2010 the world will need to cope with as many as 50 million people escaping the effects of creeping environmental deterioration, United Nations University experts say the international community urgently needs to define, recognize and extend support to this new category of ‘refugee’.
Where the hell are they? Have you seen any global warming refugees on the evening news? Noticed any of them wandering around your neighborhood? Spied any of them hanging out down at Home Depot looking for day worker jobs?
Hmmmm. You don’t think the U.N. might have exaggerated this just a tad, do you?

Yep, it was raining outside last night, and I had to flee home. Does that count?
I still remember the prediction in the late 70's of global cooling. We had a few bad winters in the Northern Illinois (the downfall of Chicago mayor Bilandic) and other areas. The papers and magazines all promised us another ice age due to the hole in the ozone or some such crap. AHHH...quick move to the equator!!! 20 years later, the same hole was going to bring us global warming and the melting of the ice caps
Basically, nothing happened, and they all gave up and went home, muttering and disappointed.
UN? Not fit for purpose, whatever their purpose is. The only thing they appear to excel at is to f*ck everything up for everyone. Full marks for THAT achievement, oh and for electing useless, weak, puppet-numpties as Secretary-General.
and this shows what you know! Don't you know how hot it is in Mexico? There has to be at least 50 million Mexicans come across the border in the last 5 years! Sure, some might say it's because America is a wonderful place, but Im_a_Democrat and you know what I say - America sucks (except for our holy trinity of Obama, Reid, and Pelosi) so I know that only reason these Mexicans are coming here is because Global Warming is wrecking havoc there (and we have some killer Fried chicken).
