John Walton & Steve Johnson are a couple of former shock jocks now riding high in Houston and eleven other stations around the Gulf Coast. One of IHTM’s Gulf frequent contributors said, “They have a huge following and they are absolutely hilarious.”
Walton & Johnson modestly describe their show as “The best damn show on radio.”
Their website says, “What sets Walton & Johnson apart is they say what everyone thinks, but is afraid to say… Do they take a lot of flak for it? Yes. But their knowledge and inarguable assessments of the nature of the beast is remarkable and compelling. They neglected to say it, but maybe it goes without saying, but they also make you laugh.

With podcasts and on demand audio these days it is sometimes hard to sit through all the commercials and repeated newscasts on terrestrial radio. Walton and Johnson are worth it though. The humor, wit, sarcasm and analysis is always spot on. The cast of characters Johnson impersonates is awe inspiring. And best of all . . . (like the story said) they really make you laugh!
listen to them everyday. its not just politics....which is nice sometimes.
