If you’re anything like us, you look at the polls and think to yourself, “How can 28% of the voters still think this guy’s doing a great job?”
Well, here’s the answer. They’re hooked on something as addictive as drugs – love.
New research on the brain shows losing a lover can have the same effect on a person as trying to kick a substance addiction, says biological anthropologist Helen Fisher.
She’s studied the brain for 35 years, and says that discovery is the most interesting one yet.
When people have been rejected from love, they pine for it, they whine for it, they live for it, and they die for it, Fisher said on The Early Show.”
“You can’t stop thinking about this person. You crave the person. You do inappropriate things. You distort reality. You lie in bed and cry,” said Fisher.”You drink too much, you drive too fast, you do very inappropriate things when you’ve been rejected in love,” said Fisher.
Sometimes you even feel a tingle going down your leg.

It's not about love. It's simply cognitive dissonance, the same thing that makes people defend their car choice even when their new car is constantly back at the dealer for repairs. Some people are psychologically unable to admit to themselves that they were snookered by a salesman.
It makes sense. The people that started with the love and idolization for Obama most people would recover after the dissapointment but there are some that will not. They want to continue to believe that it will still work out. That may explain why a lot of abused women return to their abusers again and again. It is a sickness.
Sounds rather like the "Stockholm" syndrome.
In many ways one can argue that Obama has hijacked this country and keeping it for ransom.
While many people scramble to get their country back, there are the idiots who want to empathize with the terrorist. Sad.
Whereas studies have found that at least 30% of all people could actually be diagnosed with a "serious mental illness" if they sought treatment, it is curious that Obama's numbers are actually lower than THAT...
I am going with my theory, which posits that some people are just booger eating morons.
