Considering the fact that Marx and Mao are dead, the question that comes to mind is how could MSNBC go more liberal?
The Hill peaks into the future via Keith Olbermann’s tweets:
MSNBC anchor Keith Olbermann tweeted on Friday that Comcast wants to make his network “more liberal” when it completes its merger with NBC Universal.
The $30 billion merger is currently under review at the Justice Department and the Federal Communications Commission (FCC).
“Yeah, they want to go more liberal,” Olbermann tweeted in response to a question about the merger.
So apparently Comcast’s business plan calls for an even smaller audience. Or Keith Olbermann is fantasizing.
We know which way we’re leaning toward.

Comcast higher ups would be living in a fool's paradise if they think that MSNBC business model so far is the epitome of success. They will be beyond stupid if they decide to go more liberal. It seems then they are not looking out for the shareholders and I am sure Comcast shareholders will not be happy with this. So either Comcast is committing business harikari for some ideological reason or Dweebyman is a fool who WANTS Comcast to go more liberal and think that by saying it, it will be so.
Also what happened to their stance of them being unbiased?
MSNBC's new business plan:
1) Load gun
2) Point gun at right foot
3) Pull trigger
4) Repeat steps 1-3 with left foot

Professor USN-RETIRED, I have a question: If one hand claps in the woods, and there's no other hand against it, does MSNBC still continue to suck and hemorrhage their audience?
Since they continue to cut their own throats with the mass-produced ritual villification they mindlessly spew, hemorrhaging is quite an apt word.
Viewers can be fed a diet of pablum mixed with bitterness and gall for only a limited time, after which it produces either discriminatory impairment ( easily led koolaid-drunk sheeple) ( blatant plug) or rejection and defection ( moving to FOX and IHTM). But even among the 'sheeple' there is a possibility of detox and recovery. All it usually takes is a strong dose of reallity. "A Conservative is a Liberal that was mugged."
So, their impending demise is the logical result of their actions. How appropriate - death by viewer loss.
Billy Preston sang - "Nothing from nothing leaves nothing." Since MSNBC brings little or nothing of value or substance to the table, they face the law of diminishing returns and continue their tortured march to the trash-heap of viewerless history.
As to the sound of one hand clappling, it refers to the sound of their final audience. As Shakespear put it - "The rest is silence." ( Hamlet's final words- act V, scene II )
None of this matters, BSNBC is Obama agitprop, nothing more nothing less. Until there is a clearout of the roster of on air talent with sh!t ratings, nothing will change. The staus quo should be unacceptable at 30Rock, but it does'nt seem like any real change is on the way at BSNBC. I hope I'm wrong.
