Anyway, if I was king of the USA and had the power, I would pull out of the U.N. and make the building into low cost condos, send the U.N. to France or whoever wants them. When journalists go into war zones, especially those occupied by "bad guys" (which is the term we used in the AF-and is a commonly used term on battlefields, not just by americans), they are going to be in the line of fire. All these journalists who are sympathetic to the terrorist cause, put themselves, and our guys in harm's way all the time-need I mention the rescue of the NYT nutcase last year, in which a British commando was killed? I believe I heard President Reagan make a reference to "getting out of the kitchen....." when he was alive-and I agree with him. These combat journalists, especially those who always seem to be where the bad stuff is going on, could have probably saved about 500 of our guys, had they shared what they knew, rather than going in to get pictures. My heart aches for the families of those men-and moreover for the little kids who were in that van. But for Christ's sake dude-what kind of idiot drives a van with children in it, into a free fire zone, where seconds before, there was a rain of lead? Come on, you have to understand what goes on in combat.

Fact is-any time our guys come home alive, it is a good day.
