Student who refused to stomp Jesus brought up on academic charges

Student who refused to stomp Jesus brought up on academic charges. This is a college with schizophrenia. First they supported the class exercise, then they apologized for it and said nobody was suspended, now they’ve accused him of a long list of violations and told him:

“In the interim, you may not attend class or contact any of the students involved in this matter – verbally or electronically – or by any other means. Please be advised that a Student Affairs hold may be placed on your records until final disposition of the complaint.”

Harvard stripped of quiz tournament titles for cheating

Harvard stripped of quiz tournament titles for cheating. Harvard competitor Andy Watkins hacked his way into, and accessed, the quiz questions before the 2009, 2010 and 2011 Intercollegiate Championship Tournaments… but insists he wasn’t trying to cheat. Sound like any other Harvard graduate you know?

More people have cellphones than toilets

Toilet.jpg
More people have cellphones than toilets. According to the United Nations, 6 billion of the world’s 7 billion people have access to a cellphone, but only 4.5 billion have access to a toilet. Maybe the U.S. government should stop handing out Obama phones and start handing out Obama toilets. The symbolism would be more appropriate anyway.

Another left wing talk station goes dark

Another left wing talk station goes dark. KJFK (check out those call letters) in Reno, Nevada, will cease broadcasting after 8 years of progressive talk radio. Yes, yes, that’s the radio station where J.P.’s Moment of Common Sense was getting aired for the last two months, and where I was co-hosting Broad View on Saturday evenings… but it wasn’t me that brought the station down, swear to God!

Governor Cuomo forced to ease gun legislation he just passed

Governor Cuomo forced to ease gun legislation he just passed. For one thing, he discovered there’s no such thing as a seven-bullet clip. Oops. When it comes to Democrats passing legislation in a hurry during the middle of the night, Obamacare was The Hangover and New York’s anti-gun legislation is The Hangover Part II.

Rumor is the Koch Brothers are trying to buy the Los Angeles Times

LATimes_130312.jpg
Rumor is the Koch Brothers are trying to buy the Los Angeles Times… and the leftwing editorial department is already having a cow. “To me, Doug Manchester would be bad enough even without the Koch Brothers,” said one frightened writer. We think it would be nice to have one or two news sources that aren’t owned by George Soros and Warren Buffet.
