This guy is a genius until you take away his Teleprompter. When he ad libs he’s more like Elmo Lincoln than Abraham Lincoln.
(Trust us, this is a much funnier line if you actually know who Elmo Lincoln was. Look him up.)
Here President Obama inspiring America by telling us that we need to “build stuff and invent stuff.”
This is, of course, in the grand tradition of FDR, who is famous for saying, “The only stuff we have is stuff itself” and JFK, who is famous for saying, “Ask not what your stuff can do for you. Ask what you can do for your stuff.”
And, of course, in the tradition of IHateTheMedia.com, which says, “Stuff it, President Obama.”

long ago, and far away, or, is it far, far - into the future, there was a show called 'star trec', and in one episode, - there was a 'machine' that you could 'watch' your 'enemies' remotely, on a screen (like a tv), and then when ever it suited you, you could press a button ... 'Poof', your enemy simply ceased to exist. aaahh, what a windfall that invention would be today, in the right hands.
Man it really sucks when you post late, all the good shits already been said!
LOL your comment made me laugh so well done!
Drink more beer then think about it some more. It works for me.
THAT'S IT! THAT'S IT! We can "invent" and "make" an electromechanical Beer Summit Think Tank! I'm thinking it would be similar to the 'Orgasmatron' electromechanical device that appears in the 1973 Woody Allen movie 'Sleeper.'
Elmo Lincoln?
Obama is better compared to tickle me Elmo, but without the sense of humor and intelligence!
I've heard, time and time again, that Obama is a good speaker. I've watched him both on and off the teleprompter and I don't see it. I mean I can say people I don't agree with are good, charismatic speakers but I have never, ever thought Obama is one.
Am I missing something? Did I not drink or inject some type of spore? I've been following the man since 2006 and he has always seemed to me more of a con artist then anything. Heck I called Clinton a used car salesman that made it big and I think *he* was a better speaker then Obama and much more Charismatic. (not that I trusted him, mind you...)
Maybe it is the fact I've been raised around great speakers - I was raised in the church and have seen many, many preachers and pastors talk. Some good, some bad, some great and I sat through them all. You learn to have an instinct for people that are real and those that are not.
Maybe that is the thing - I have always viewed Obama as a fake. I'd rather have a genuine guy flub lines then a fake speak perfectly. That, to me, makes a truly great orator.
It's amazing what a little Saul Alinsky can do, eh, Warren? YOU BETCHA!
"Invent/build stuff"
Oh, ok Mr.O, invent stuff the thing we americans have been doing for..well...forever. The thing we've been doing to not only better humanity and the economy, but to profit off of it and make money to benifit ourselves. ok, yeah we can do that, but lets finish listening to what he means by that.
"Invent/build stuff....so we can tax you for doing it, take away all of your profit from your hard work, and give all this money "that you don't really need" to the person who as done nothing(because it's the right thing to do)"
...well Mr.O i will have to respectfully decline this idea on the premises that it is bull shit and counter-productive.
Idiot. Total and complete idiot.
I wonder if Will Smith sees that and says to himself: "I am an idiot"
Okay so Obama is the same guy that belittled Bush for saying that we should all go and shop after 9/11 (whereas Bush didn't necessarily say that in the form that Obama made it sound)... Master of eloquence he ain't...
No Kimmy. I doubt that he does. I think stars are so far out of touch that nothing could dispel their feelings towards Obama.
Self deception is a serious problem among those people.
It's their narcissism and megalomania that is killing all of us.
He hasn't mastered irony yet, either.
Glenn Beck has been encouraging entrepreneurship for the past year, even more so the last few months. Obummer is parroting conservatives only as a re-election campaign strategy to woo independents.
I read this elsewhere: "Yeah, invent stuff so he can ban it." hahaha
"I read this elsewhere: “Yeah, invent stuff so he can ban it.” hahaha"
Or tax it, regulate it, confiscate it...you get the idea.
I'm just throwing this out there....because The Jump Shooter in Chief told us how damn great his health care plan was....but not for federal workers, or congress, or apparently the UNIONS
(CNSNews.com) – Three local chapters of the Service Employees International Union (SEIU), whose political action committee spent $27 million supporting Barack Obama in the 2008 presidential election, have received temporary waivers from a provision in the Obamacare law.
The three SEIU chapters include the Local 25 in Obama’s hometown of Chicago.
