Barack Obama, who billed himself as the first post-partisan President, but who has governed as if that description were some kind of joke, finally put his real feelings into words.
The Hill has the details:
Latino voters, the president said, would have an opportunity to send a message to Republicans, who Obama accused of “politicizing” immigration reform and the border security debate. Obama said “pressure has to be put on the Republican Party” if immigration reform is to become a reality.
“And if Latinos sit out the election instead of saying, we’re gonna punish our enemies and we’re gonna reward our friends who stand with us on issues that are important to us, if they don’t see that kind of upsurge in voting in this election, then I think it’s gonna be harder — and that’s why I think it’s so important that people focus on voting on November 2,” he said.
Punish your enemies. If they bring a knife, he’ll bring a gun.
Maybe instead of comparing this president to Jimmy Carter, we should begin comparing him to Richard Nixon. Except Nixon’s enemy list seemed to be a lot shorter than Obama’s.

I always present my ID when I vote, whether I'm asked or not. It's my way of making a politiccal statement without actually making one.
Here in SC they require you to have your voter registration card AND a state ID card. Try tellin em you don't need no stinkin ID and see what happens--LOL!!
Yeah SC, it's the same here in Alabama... no documentation... no vote.
