This is good. This is really good. This is one of those things you hear for the first time and say, “Of course. That has to be the answer.”
We’re not birthers. Sure, we joke around about it, but we think Barack Obama was probably born in Hawaii. Far as we’re concerned, it makes no sense that some grand conspiracy to put him in the White House was put in motion on the day he was born in Kenya.
So if he was born in Hawaii, why doesn’t he release his original birth certificate? Even liberal lunatic Chris Matthews recently said, “Just release the damn thing, Mr. President, and shut up these birthers.”
A caller on Tim Conway, Jr’s radio show on KFI/Los Angeles Tuesday night suggested a simple, but brilliant theory that if true would be far more damaging to Barack Obama than the theory that he was born in Kenya. It goes like this:
Interracial marriage was still frowned upon even in racially-mixed Hawaii back in 1961 when Barack Obama was born.
So the reason – the simple, logical reason – that Obama won’t reveal his original birth certificate is because he is listed as white on that document. Perhaps it was his mother who checked the “White” box on the form. Or maybe the attending physician looked at the new baby, looked at his mother and said, “Baby mama white. Baby must be white” and entered that information.
This is a good one, isn’t it? It’s simple, logical and it explains Obama’s reticence to release the original birth certificate. After all, being officially designated as white would be the most devastating thing that could possibly happen to his political career. The only reason he got elected President is because, as Joe Biden said, “He’s a clean, good-looking, articulate black man.” (Don’t blame us, blame Joe.) The moment he’s seen as white, BAM!, he loses his cachet, his point of difference, his raison d’être in the sun, so to speak.
When Conway’s listener explained this theory, Mrs Editor and I looked at each other and laughed out loud and agreed that it makes so much sense that it may well be true.

I think it's probably even simpler than you suggest, and the reluctance to release the birth certificate is tied to the Chris Matthews quote in the OP.....and that is, that the President and his political advisors do not want the birthers to shut up. They want the birthers to keep going on, and to this end Donald Trump is Obama's best political friend at the moment. Birthers are not in the mainstream, and the more attention they get the worse the Republican Party looks. I suspect there is absolutely nothing in the birth certificate that presents a problem for the president -- but the longer he refuses to release it, and the longer and louder the birthers shout about it -- the better the president looks by comparison.
It's about letting political enemies marginalize themselves, and the old saw about the answer to the question "what do you do when your enemy is shooting himself in the foot" being "you do nothing".
I think if that is their strategy, it might just backfire.
Five states, led by ARIZONA, now have bills in their legislatures saying he (or anyone else) can't run again without documentation!

This sort of legislation needs to hit every state capital in the nation.
-if, he produced that (what has never existed), - then his foes would have 'evidence', to use to study, to track, to put under the microscope (so to speak), to ferret out the 'truth'. This can't happen when there's just smoke & mirrors to work with.
Natural Born Citizen is not IN the Constitution (14th amendment), nor in its subsequent laws. The only humanly possible permutation omitted from the 14th Amendment and USC 1401 is for Natural Born Citizen (jus soli AND jus sanguinis).
Race has nothing to do with the topic of being a natural born citizen. Lt. Col. Allen West is a natural born citizen, and a far better human being than the usurper could ever hope to be in a thousand life spans.
Minor v. Happersett
Natural Born status is mentioned in case law: Minor v. Happersett (1874) 21 Wall. 162, 166-168
"'At common law, with the nomenclature of which the framers of the constitution were familiar, it was never doubted that all children born in a country, of parents [plural] who were its citizens [plural], became themselves, upon their birth, citizens also. These were natives or natural-born citizens, as distinguished from aliens or foreigners. Some authorities go further, and include as citizens children born within the jurisdiction, without reference to the citizenship of their parents. As to this class there have been doubts, but never as to the first. For the purposes of this case, it is not necessary to solve these doubts. It is sufficient, for everything we have now to consider, that all children, born of citizen parents within the jurisdiction, are themselves citizens.' Minor v. Happersett (1874) 21 Wall. 162, 166-168."
Under Happersett, a natural born citizen is clarified to mean born citizen without a doubt. Doubt entered the picture due to Obama being born a British citizen under The British Nationality Act of 1948, in effect at the time of his birth. He cannot be, as a state of nature, considered a born citizen of the United States, when he was born British.
Chester Arthur
Chester A. Arthur perpetrated a fraud as to his eligibility to be Vice President by spreading various lies about his parents’ heritage. Arthur’s father, William Arthur, became a United States citizen in August 1843, but Arthur was born in 1829 -- 14 years before. Therefore, Arthur was a British Citizen by descent, and a dual citizen at birth, if not his whole life.
He wasn’t a "natural born citizen" and he knew it.
John Bingham
Rep. John Bingham of Ohio, considered the father of the Fourteenth Amendment, confirms that understanding and the construction the framers used in regards to birthright and jurisdiction while speaking on civil rights of citizens in the House on March 9, 1866:
" ... I find no fault with the introductory clause [S 61 Bill], which is simply declaratory of what is written in the Constitution, that every human being born within the jurisdiction of the United States of parents not owing allegiance to any foreign sovereignty is, in the language of your Constitution itself, a natural born citizen..."
Bingham is also quoted saying in the Spring of 1868 some serious warnings:
"May God forbid that the future historian shall record of this day's proceedings, that by reason of the failure of the legislative power of the people to triumph over the usurpations of an apostate President, the fabric of American empire fell and perished from the earth!...I ask you to consider that we stand this day pleading for the violated majesty of the law, by the graves of half a million of martyred hero-patriots who made death beautiful by the sacrifice of themselves for their country, the Constitution and the laws, and who, by their sublime example, have taught us all to obey the law; that none are above the law..."
The birth certificate was released over two years ago. You are wasting your time on this topic.
That's not a birth certificate. It's a Certificate of Live Birth. A COLB can have anything printed on it that parent's provide. My COLB reads my step father's name as my father. You don't know what a duck is like you don't know what a birth certificate is

Sorry, it was only the Certificate of live birth", but hey, who really needs the origional? I did, in order to obtain a US Passport. Plus I'm still trying to figure out why over $2million has been spent to keep any cases involving his status out of court, maybe you can explain it to me.
BTW, it's not just his birth certifiacte, it's his college records, his EEOC reports, & his passport. Or the lack there of, which makes Obama America's first undcumented President.

He has a birth certificate, from where? Who knows? They are sealed. He has college records, but those are also sealed. The fact is this, Obama is basically an undocumented president, & I feel we will find out some of these things after he out of office.

He's already admitted in his books that his father was a British subject. His mother was too young, and didn't live in America long enough to claim him as an American citizen. This gives him dual-citizenship. Not eligible as per our Constitution to be President. I heard the Tim Conway Jr. show, and agree this could be the answer.
But, what if he was born in Hawaii in 1959, and not 1961? Hawaii was not a state at that time. This would also create a problem for him. Just another thought out of the main box.
