Actress, singer and political wacko Bette Midler calls Glenn Beck “terrifying” and says “he’s like an old school demagogue.”
Why, the next thing that’ll happen, according to Midler is that Beck’s hate speech will set off the kind of civil unrest they had in Rwanda. Because radio hosts caused that, you know. Evil, conservative radio hosts. Probably raaaaaaacists.

Yeah, I always thought she and Joy could be sisters. Or brothers in drag. And interestingly, i think that is the last demographic midler still retains.
How can someone who thought starring in "Beaches" was a good idea be taken seriously?
How can anyone who confuses an agent's choice with an actress's choice be taken seriously? BTW, "Beaches" made a boatload of money for all involved, so the idea definitely worked on many levels.

I'll admit, that early on, I'd had to take a shower after watching Glenn. Even as a conservative, he rubbed me the same way Rush does, and it felt dirty. However, I've since come around to Glenn(still not Rush). So, I understand somewhat the dislike of the guy. This is not the problem the libs have with Glenn. God knows, dems have plenty of shower worthy representatives themselves. (M. Moore, anybody?) What they are so afraid of, is that he makes more sense than they ever could have hoped in their wildest nightmare. Who on the Dem side is looking at the BIG picture these days? No one, beacuse their supporters do not make any such leap in observation. So they let the sleeping Libs lay. They are terrified that someone might open their eyes, or actually have a response to their party lines. Good thing they can still disregard us with a snide, "You're an ....." argument.
Glen is silly at times,but his show is very informative and true. It is terrifying that one like Joy can be on t.v. She is an old dried up depressing hag that gossips about everyone. She has no talent. She knows who and what she is and we all know that is why she ridicules people that is really talented and smart.
Joy also cannot take it as she dishes it out. When O'Reilly gave it to her she bitched and moaned about it. She is arrogant.
