New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, a man who fancies himself presidential material, came up with a very odd plan on Sunday’s Meet the Press.
He thinks we could reinvigorate Detroit by allowing illegal aliens to move there. Sort of a free pass, a get out of jail free green card.
Let’s let Bloomberg explain it himself:
“If I were the federal government, assuming you could wave a magic wand and pull everybody together, you pass a law letting immigrants come in as long as they agree to go to Detroit and live there for five or ten years.”
It’s sort of like just eliminating the United States off the map and moving Tijuana up there next to Canada.

So.... this is supposed to be PUNISHMENT for coming in here illegally? Or he is (mistakenly) thinking that somehow illegal work and ingenuity will somehow revitalize Detroit?
If it is the first it is easier to deport them, becuase Detroit is rank (I am sorry but it is) and illegal people will must make it ranker because I am sorry they will require space and entitlements that Detroit does not have. If it is the second he must be drinking and he should not have that job that he has nor should he even think about becoming President.

Why the hell would undocumented Democrat voters, er, illegal aliens go to Detroit? They're already going to California and getting a much better deal - free room and board. I guess the reason Meet The Press decided to have this clown on was that Thurston Howell III wasn't available.

Whats the point of throwing millions of people in an area where there are no jobs? This would make the current ghettos look like paradise resorts! How would you keep them in such a place? And since Michigan isnt broke enough, or doesnt have a high enough unemployment rate, lets make it worse! Never mind the absolute inhuman conditions that would cause all those, illegal, and legal residents to live in.
Mr. Bloomberg, you should be forced to live there along side all the illegal immigrants you propose to relocate there!
