You know the “peak oil” theory espoused by environmentalists? It says the world’s oil reserves have peaked and we’re now faced with an ever dwindling supply.
Unfortunately, there seems to be no such thing as “peak idiocy.” Because MSNBC has what appears to be an endless supply of boneheads they can march out to make inane comments.
Like, for example, Alex Parene of Salon.com, who claims that the reason George Bush’s book has sold so well is that people just hate him so darn much.
The corollary to this theory, we suppose, was that Bill Clinton’s book sold fewer copies because people liked him so darn much.

With this kind of logic O.J. Simpson could write a book, even from prison, and sell 30 million copies on the day of release, and 50 million on pre-order. Is this guy a Richard Cranium or what ?
I would ask how many copies of "Dreams of My Father" were sold... but that information is probably kept secret for some reason.
Wow a lot of things here...The last part infers that people are idiots who would only buy books if they are short enough. I apologize for the language but she is a b*tch and he is an a**hole for that. Seriously? People are SOOO stupid that when they buy books they only buy the ones with the minimal amounts of pages?! WTH?! Stupid people would rather not read in the first place so why spend money in a book regardless of its length?
Also how is writing a book with only 500 pages a bad thing? So when is being succint and to the point a bad thing?! If anything Clinton's 1000 pages tells me that he was talking too much in order to make himself look good (arrogant). They are both idiots.
The other thing is that I never waste money buying things that I hate or things from people that I hate/dislike. Only idiots do that and it seems then that I can only assume that they bought Sarah Palin's book so there you go... Liberals are whackos I feel bad for them...
Another thing is that this idiot overreached so up his behind to try to find reasons for him selling so many books... seriously people bought it as a gag and not body wanted it?!

1. Spend money on things and people they hate even if it means putting money into the people that they hate's pockets.

3. Are stupid because they cannot read beyond 500 pages.
