The Associated Press reports that there was a language barrier or two at the White House when Mexican el Presidente Felipe Calderon spoke on Tuesday:
A halting and grammatically incoherent English translation marred Mexican President Felipe Calderon’s arrival ceremony at the White House Wednesday, rendering his remarks difficult to understand at times. The Mexican delegation blamed its own translator.
Here’s how those comments appeared in the official White House transcript:
“I know that we share the interest in promoting dignified, legal and orderly living conditions to all migrant workers. Many of them, despite their significant contribution to the economy and to the society of the United States, still live in the shadows and, occasionally, as in Arizona, they even face discrimination.”
But we here at IHateTheMedia.com are highly-trained linguists. We were quickly able to see that the official translation was slightly inaccurate and we consider it our public duty to provide you with this revised translation of Calderon’s remarks:
“You are friggin’ fools, America. While we steal billions of pesos from our people, we will continue to send our starving, unemployed peasants across the border so that they can become your problem instead of ours. And if you so much as open your mouths, we will cry racism. By the way, pendejos, we will eventually take back every square inch of land you stole from us. Long live Aztlán.”
As you can see, language barriers are easily overcome. And in that way, they are a lot like barriers along the border.

Today is the day my kid got felt up by some low-life TSA scum... What areyou going to do when these scumbags do that to your kid.... Calderon, his laws imprison foreigners that speak negatively of their politics...., but he comes here and wraps on us about Arizona, and the congress scumbags clap and stand up to honor this piece od crap... If we had a Commander In Chief with any 'bolas' he would go to Mexico City and deride their immigration policies beside which ours pale in comparison. We might also want to keep in mind that the liberal translation of immigration reform is

@administrator - I too heard the Rush caller and was not real happy with Rush's response. I thought his reaction was over-the-top, angry and childish. Especially his challenge to the caller "well what are you doing about it?".
We really like listening to him (24/7 members) but were taken aback by his treatment of this person. IMHO.
Hey MIchVet, I'm also a 24/7 member. I heard the call this evening. I'm not a huge fan of callers in general. But I thought both sides lost it. First, ask "Who does more than Rush for the conservative side?", and I thought Rush was over the top, too. Guys we're small enough. We cannot tolerate this in-fighting.

I heard a caller talking to Rush today, and he was right on. He asked why don't the republicans in congress walk out when this nonsense is spewed? That would have been a fitting parallel to the democrats applauding Calderon when he said the increase is border violence is America's fault (Read, Bush's fault) because we didn't ban assault rifles. (I believe we do ban fully automatic weapons, and the Mexican gangs are using automatic weapons, so it's BS to begin with. Correct me if I'm wrong.)
No, you're right--fully auto weapons are for law-enforcement and the military only, in the U.S. and those jackasses south of the border are using them. Meaning they're getting them from somewhere else--probably Columbia...
They get a lot of weapons from China because the drug cartels have more money than the Federalies they can make volume deals and pay for shipping. The are also killing U S citizens in the US as they did Robert Krentz, a rancher in south AZ, on Palm Sunday.
