California may be bankrupt, but the inmates who run the asylum saw fit to pay one prison psychiatrist more than $800,000 last year.
The Editor and the Administrator have a neighbor who’s a psychiatrist in the California state prison system. He’s a great guy, but we’re going to be pissed if we find out this story is about him.
Bloomberg has the crazy details:
The chief psychiatrist for California’s overcrowded prison system was paid $838,706 in 2010, more than any other state employee that year, payroll figures released today show.
Note how Bloomberg casually throws in the word “overcrowded” as if it’s relevant to the story and somehow justifies the exorbitant salary.
The doctor, whose name wasn’t released, had a salary range of $261,408 to $308,640, according to data released today by California Controller John Chiang. The total compensation was raised by bonuses or payout of unused vacation time, according to the controller’s office.
Bonuses? For $800K this guy should have cured Charles Manson, Richard Ramirez and Scott Peterson and then driven over to Nevada to cure O.J. Simpson.
Nah, that still wouldn’t have been worth $800K.

Let me try to explain the over crowding. It's really simple and easy to follow. There are way to many illegals crossing the border. They get caught committing their crimes and we, the tax payers are footing the bills for them. It does not matter where the illegals have come from. Their incarceration should have to be paid for by the country of their origin. Upon release they are on the next flight back to where ever in the hell they came from. With a warning to both the illegal and their home country, get caught again and the price will be much higher.
Wasn't California supposed to drop off into the ocean a long time ago?

Nah nah nah! RHG. I meant it the bad way it sounded. Wasn't it a while back he refused to present his birth certificate? (Why, exactly would he do that??? Just to prove to us the laws don't apply to him?) One talking head I heard said it might be, because he wasn't black! That because he came from a mixed relationship, the doctor trying to do him a favor, checked 'WHITE". If that got out in public, he would loose all 100% of his credibility. (Remember the scene in Silver Streak?)
When the state runs outta money again, betcha this guy won't be getting IOUs.
What has overcrowding in California's prisons got to do with this psychiatrist's 2010 income? Let's see, per the MSM, California prisons are overcrowded, probably because prison pyschiatrists are unable to prepare the overcrowded inmates for release or parole. That's why prison pyschiatrists are so well paid, they must deal with angry prison inmates who suffer from overcrowding.
Does the above paragraph make sense? If it does, you're probably a California prison psychiatrist or an inmate of an overcrowded California prison.
How does a state employee receive a salary and compensation package that is at least four times more than the governor of the state makes? This is why lilbtards are absolutely no good with money, their own or anybody elses, they have absolutely no concept of rightful compensation for services rendered; they'll pay a ditch digger $120 an hour for digging them into a hole and they'll pay a soldier $12.50 for digging them out!

Yup way over 600 inmates, who will almost certainly die of old age cause the liberals don't like punishment, they just like the crime (and getting away with it) I am in favor of public firing squads, or perhaps using the tree in front of your local courthouse say Friday at Noon with a strong rope....But alas the weiner legislature now wants us to follow Illinois down the path of no balls and eliminate capital punishment...Perhaps if Shalespeare got his wish about lawyers...ahh but thats just wishfull thinking.

The wards of the state must be compensated , whether they are the ones living under the rock or the ones keeping them under the rock. The plantation system MUST be maintained .
