We were way off base in our analysis of President Obama’s political philosophy. Turns out Barry Obama was virtually indistinguishable from Barry Goldwater until those dastardly Republicans forced him – against his will, apparently – to become a lefty.
At least that’s Chris Matthews’ new theory:
Matthews: The Republican strategy over last two years has been to force Obama over to the left so that he could only pass left-wing legislation without the grace of bipartisan support, they won, they made him into a lefty.”
By the way, we love the way Townhall.com now tags all their videos with Will Smith’s ludicrous comment that “Obama as an idea marks an evolutionary flashpoint for humanity.”

Hope this is the begining of the clearout at MSNBC. ComCast will need to adress this at some point. My guess is that they are already planning ahead to replace at least a couple of their primetime lineup.
Who knows... maybe this is Comcast working behind the scenes... Not to appear as the overbearing over lord YET making changes by making the idiots fall on their own swords.

So... he wasn't a lefty before he entered the Presidency but now that he is in the Presidency he had NO CHOICE that to follow the orders (?) of his "enemies" and become what they wanted him to become... do this make ANY sense yet?

We have to face the fact that no matter how many failures Obama has it will never be his fault...unless something goes right then Obama is going to be all over that.
That tingle up Christ Matthews has turned into a political lightning bolt to his brain; he's more confused and disoriented than usual. Republicans didn't make Obama a leftist, Obama made himself a leftist. His upbringing, his education, his readings, his mentors and his friends all contributed to and solidified his socialist views. The Republicans didn't push Obama leftward, he was on the port side of politics long before he sought elective office.
Maybe Will Smith has the same bolt running up his leg that sparked an idea?!!

We didn't know much about BO before he took office, but there is one thing we did know; when he did vote, he consistently voted for the most leftist policies. He was the most liberal senator in Congress. And Matthews is trying to say the Rs pushed him to the left? How much farther did he have to go?

On an unrelated vein, here's a thought. Cassius Clay became a Muslim, changed his name to Muhammed Ali. Bob Moore became a Muslim, changed his name to Ahmad Rashad. Lew Alcindor became a Muslim, changed his name to Kareem Abul Jabaar. Barry Soetoro changed his name to Barack Hussein Obama. I wonder why???
Actually, Soetoro was his stepdad's name when his mother married the Indonesian guy & moved there as a kid. He kept that name for a while, & then went to the Obama name when he was trying to discover who he is.
