How do people like this get elected? No, really. How?
In this video clip, Peggy West, a liberal Democrat County Supervisor in Milwaukee, Wisconson, stands before her constituents and demonstrates her remarkable ignorance in both economics and geography in one simple statement.
We paraphrase: “That anti-illegal alien law might be ok for a state like Texas that sits right on the Mexican border, but not for Arizona, which is, like, nowhere near the border.”
We just wish the camera had shown West’s face when her fellow supervisor cut her off and guided her back to reality.

Actually, if she had read ANY of the news stories on the subject, they all mention the problems that AZ has right on the border, that the first 80 miles or so north of the border are considered unsafe for human habitation, etc. But then again, that would require her to be able to read.

I can sum this up in one sentence. It's George Bush's fault. Let me explain... The reason she brought up Texas, and not say, New Mexico, is because GWB is from Texas. Get it? And since Mexico is our 57th state, she shouldn't be required to know that it borders Arizona, which happens to be the home of John McCain and the Arizona Diamondbacks, which aren't even in the same division as the Milwaukee Brewers. Geez, can't you people see this? Let me add that GWB and Dick Cheney secretly wanted to move Arizona into the Great Northwest, between Oregon and Washington. She was well aware of the plan, and forgot that they hadn't done it. (I think Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin were in on that one too.) And if any of what I have typed isn't true, well, I misspoke. Whew.

Well, I wish I could understand what you were saying. For starters, most Nazis are dead, and it would surprise me if any were right wing at all. Also, I'm pretty sure Europe's water did suck, so it might be that. What really confuses me is how there's a Republican party in Nazi Germany... And then you go into some tirade about Reagan? What does he have to do with Nazis and Germany? But yeah, nice try at doing the repeat a word 3 times, almost had it on the last one... But just because Eureka doesn't have a college doesn't mean there isn't one nearby. But why are you calling your sister stupid? That's not very nice. He almost didn't want to refer to her as a colleague. I don't blame him. Who would she is so stupid, no intelligent person would want anyone to think that such a stupid person is associated with one.
She looks inexperienced. I don't know how old she is, but she looks and talks like an inexperienced individual, that lived at home and isolated from the real world for a long time. Whoever voted for her are the dumbest people in this equation.
My goodness sakes... anyone can get elected to any type of political/influential office/position these days. The danger of this is what makes me so upset.
