Remember this Manchin campaign commercial? Candidate (and now Senator) Joe Manchin said “I’ll take on Washington and this administration and get the federal government off of our backs!” Then he picked up his rifle and fired a shot right through Obama’s healthcare bill.
We’re absolutely positive that this is what motivated Jared Loughner to shoot Gabrielle Giffords. And we’re even more sincere about it than the lunatic left is that Sarah Palin’s little target symbols caused him to do it.

Screw "taking the high road." For years I watched Republicans often take the high road, as if thinking the Democrats would too, only to watch Dems backstab and attack them again the first chance they got. I could make a list of crap Republicans have done, but Democrats are on a whole other level of deceit and lies. Besides, stuff like this isn't about the high or low road, anyway; it's about pointing out hypocrisy.
Depressing, when you realize how much of it there is. I just cannot understand why such hatred is acceptable to anyone.
I would like for someone on the left to explain this. [crickets]
Everyone should shuffle over and check out what Michelle Malkin prepared for the libtards-10 years of their hate and violence filled rantings, arrests, and crosshairs. The effigies of W are the most disturbing-but the list is as exhaustive as it gets-and has some really great examples of how the super-intellectual "elite" left trods upon every "rule" of engagement they supposedly have, all the while attacking us for supposedly breaking the "rules". IT is classic Michelle. The MSM should be very embarrassed about 10 lines into reading that "bullseye" she shot today!

wow that is if anything complete... and i am sure still so much more can be said.
Why do politicians from both parties always have a politically correct "hunting rifle" whenever they portray themselves as 2A champions in their campaign ads?
Why can't they just have an AR-15 or something like that?
The second amendment is not about deer hunting.
Omar, my favorite weapon would have been an M79 grenade launcher or an M60 machine gun...I loved those weapons more than I loved my M16. Either one of them would have made a mess out of that bill tacked to that tree, hell, they would have made a mess out of that tree!
Or this http://bit.ly/sYh9h, for particularly nasty bills.
WTF? 13 grand for that thing? If we had sensible gun laws the Chinese would have a copy of that thing for $200 at harbor freight.
Don't. Just don't.
This is partisan nitpicking just because Manchin's a Dem.
This type of stuff is just going to make more people holler for more gun control - on both sides of the aisle.
Remember, when you wrestle with a pig, everybody gets dirty.
Just don't.
First of all... freedom of speech and of the press... (We live in the US)
Second of all... It is a responsible exercise of the first point... unlike the liberal media.
The reason why it is a responsible exercise of the first point is because it is showcasing the double standards of the left media, but with the OBVIOUS inflection that this is NOT meant to be taken seriously and only an idiot would do so. It is presenting the other side of the argument something Beck and others have been doing all week and I believe it to be valid.
I see what you are saying and in other condition I would agree. We must be responsible for our speech at all times as conservatives, but turning the other cheek does not mean that we shouldn't display the hypocrisy of others when it is indeed merited (as it is in this case). Also it doesn't mean that we as conservatives cannot take care to defend our position BY exposing the truth as we see it. It ALSO doesn't mean relegating and leaving the platform to the liberals and therefore allowing them to completely dominate the conversation.
No... the site is not going down to their level because they are not inciting violence nor are they being deceptive. They are just presenting a point that if the other side is going to say this or that based on this or that, then this or that also is valid under this or that even if it is done by someone on the opposite side as well. If they really want to say that everyone is the same then they have to live their truth, if they are going to differentiate they are going to have to be forthcoming and not deceptive.
Also anyone that has any set ways will stick to their set ways regardless of this unfortunate and sad situation. This situation shouldn't incite a gun control person to change and of course a pro-gun person will not change either.
I disagree. I think this site is doing us all a big favor by providing examples of the double-standard that exists in this current rhetorical firestorm jinned up by Democrats and the MSM.
Bingo. Chuck gets it.
I know full well that the double standard is real and profound. The problem is that they are choosing the battleground -- and if we choose to participate in it, we are the ones with the debauched morals. They, on the other hand, have no morals to debauch -- which is why a funeral or a mass murder is adjudged by them to be a suitable place for a political debate. A group who feels that a cross honoring veterans' sacrifice constitutes an endorsement of religion by government by virtue of its location on public land (for over 50 years) and MUST COME DOWN has lost all humanity. It is only a matter of time before the rest of the country recognizes it.
Back to the Wellstone funeral -- I could not imagine Republicans sinking to their level and having a 3 hour political rally at Reagan's funeral in rebuttal to the horrid example and obvious double standard. As a result, the libs paid a price -- the mainstream Americans saw how inhuman they were -- saw them for who they really are. And responded at the polls. If you give donks a rope, they will surely hang themselves. Especially if there's political graft in it. No need to tie ourselves up in the same rope.
I don't think its stooping to their level. I read it as ridicule, which is the appropriate response.
Whats that phrase about only being able to tell the truth through comedy?
Yes, let's take the high road here.
There's nothing that the party of ghoulish behavior would love more than for us to descend to their level of expected behavior.
