Sadly, charges are already flying over who is “responsible” for inciting Jared Loughner, 22, to shoot Rep. Gabrielle Giffords of Arizona and a dozen others, six of whom have died.
Liberal websites are quickly accusing Sarah Palin and the Tea Party of creating the environment that set off a crazed lunatic like Loughner. Even old liberal warhorse Jane Fonda has indicted Sarah Palin with absolutely no evidence to support her accusations.
However, a quick look at Loughner’s YouTube channel offers no basis for such conclusions. In fact, if anything, it seems to indicate extreme left wing influences.
For example, Loughner’s YouTube channel lists the following books as his favorites.
I had favorite books: Animal Farm, Brave New World, The Wizard Of OZ, Aesop Fables, The Odyssey, Alice Adventures Into Wonderland, Fahrenheit 451, Peter Pan, To Kill A Mockingbird, We The Living, Phantom Toll Booth, One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest, Pulp,Through The Looking Glass, The Communist Manifesto, Siddhartha, The Old Man And The Sea, Gulliver’s Travels, Mein Kampf, The Republic, and Meno.
It’s highly unlikely that Mein Kampf and The Communist Manesfesto are listed among the reading material of very many Tea Party members.
Loughner created and uploaded three remarkably paranoid videos to his YouTube channel. You can see them at the bottom of this story. None of them have anything to do with the Tea Party or Sarah Palin.
That being said, we think you’ll find it instructive to watch the one video Loughner marked as his favorite among the millions of YouTube videos available. It shows a man wearing a smiley face mask walking up to and setting on fire an American flag planted in the desert. Burning the American flag is almost exclusively the domain of liberal protesters. It’s something no Tea Party patriot would ever condone.
Make sure you turn up the audio and listen to the words of the heavy metal music to understand Loughner’s twisted view of the world.
UPDATE: Catie Parker, one of Loughner’s classmates at Mountain View High School, also indicates that he was extremely left wing. Here’s a series of Tweets she left regarding the assassin aggregated into one continuous message:

I haven’t seen him since ’07 though. He became very reclusive … he had a lot of friends until he got alcohol poisoning in ’06, & dropped out of school. I dont know if Sarah's reply was necessary, however I do understand why she felt she had to do it. Her name was being dragged through the mud. of course it created a great deal of response and of course a lot of them negative even from some conservative. The woman cannot do anything right it seems even if it is well intention.
Anyone watched her show? It was actually pretty good. I was impressed and I am now planning to visit Alaska if not this year the next G-d willing.
Todays current rhetoric is a consequence of the political actions of a Socialist Progressive PUSH to change our country Fundamentally. Are we suppose to shut up and let that happen??? I will continue to call them Socialists and Communists and point fingers all day long...
I think the professional Left may be trying to goad the right (pros and amateurs) into civil unrest as evidenced by their inflammatory rhetoric trying to tie Loughner to right-wing ideology and those such as Frances Fox Piven who recently called for violent revolution.

Since they are losing the sociopolitical and cultural wars (the Left was banking on Hispanics to carry them to power for the next 100 years and Hispanics are moving right) I believe the Left need widespread unrest in order for the president to declare martial law, thus, rule by proxy through some liberal military general.

Be on guard. In Anglo-American history a paradigm changing crisis occurs roughly every 80 years so we're about due. This could spiral out of control faster than anyone thinks possible.

I've said on this site many times I'll be happier for revolution at the ballot box than by boxes of bullets. I support military action to protect the constitution and our representative republic form of government.

Its a sad day all over the United Stated. I prey for the family who lost love ones and i prey for the ones that was shot.
But, some how i always knew this would happen one day, as i watch some of those heated town hall meeting, angry comments \"you lie\" , people with guns at Tea Party Protesters Rally, Politicans and the Media pumping it up reporting every negative word and insiting hate,bloggers hateful and name calling comments, not knowing that some 22 year old kid was taking it all in and desided it was time for him to act the information.
Today Jered Lee Loughner went out, shot and killed ssome people who didn;t know his name. Nothing could be more sadder than that.
We can not blame one person for Jered action, we must all bare some blame, not enought positive information, and too much negative information. Plus what he saw on Tv.

Every week we meet in Keith Olberman's mother's basement and discuss how free will and personal choice have become dangerous to our democracy. We also discuss how best to silence dissenters and make sure that actions undertaken by the individual do not diverge from the larger will of the all powerful community. At the next meeting we will even have a special guest speaker. Buraq Obama himself will show up and teach us how to maintain a civil discourse with words and phrases like "bring a gun", "punish our enemies", "it's gonna be hand to hand combat", "get in their faces" and "hit back twice as hard"

I tend not to get into conspiracy theories and such but stuff like this makes me think that loons like this guy can be very easily manipulated (perhaps in some cases bought) in order to do stuff like this in order to get newer legistlation and control moves on the people or of course trying to minimize a group. It is too... coincidental that this is happening too soon after Republicans took control of Congress... too coincidental that this just happen to be a Blue Dog Democrat who happens to be someone that could pose even bigger problems for the Democrats overall. Then there is the fact that the woman was pretty much stalked and that the left were on to her way before this... It is too much of a coincidence and I am sure that we shall see more and more as the days and weeks go back especially if Fox and other newspapers do a good job. But again maybe I am seeing things that are not there...

Well, the mother of the 9 year old girl was obviously not convinced that the murderer was a Palin-inspired, Beck-initiated and Fox-deluded anti-government RW radical, as she gave a nice interview with Foxs' Gretchen Carlson this morning. This tragedy was in no way the work of some conservative, as the books listed are popular leftist reading material...funny though; books by O'Reilly, Beck, Palin, Limbaugh and don't forget the most hateful Malkin and Coulter are mysteriously absent. Hmmm...wonder if the other networks may catch that little tidbit...or would they dare report that? Nope...we already know that...demonize the conservatives...works everytime...
She also gave an interview to MSNBC's Alex Witt so she was obviously not convinced that the shooting was some Leftist conspiracy either.
The 9 year old girl was the granddaughter of former baseball player & manager Dallas Green. He played for the Phillies, Mets, & the old Washington Senators. He managed the Phillies, Yankees, & the Mets.
As for 9 year old Christina Green, she was born on 9/11/01. Kind of a tragic day on it's own right if you ask me. So very sad.
