Republicans are vile Neanderthals who live back in the dark ages (more commonly known as the 1950s). And Democrats are modern, enlightened beings who warmly embrace diversity as epitomized by today’s gay community.
At least that’s what Democrats would have you believe.
But this list of favorite TV shows as ranked by members of the two parties puts the lie to that theory.
Turns out Republicans like Modern Family, a show that includes a loving gay male couple, while Democrats prefer Mad Men, a show about smoking, drinking, womanizing guys from the 50s.
Hmmmmm.

Of that list I watch three shows. Glenn Beck and The Amazing Race (not as good as before though) and K and K take Miami and that was because I had nothing else to do when I started watching and then just got hooked, but I am not watching their new show in NY and I barely saw the Kardashians this season. I am so over them.
In any case Survivor and the Amazing Race showcases survival and competition which is something liberals dislike.
I don't watch any of these shows since I don't have cable TV (by choice). And, it is disappointing to see that the only difference between republicans and democrats is in the TV shows they watch. If you ask me, the media has both of them right where they want them...in front of the TV! Perhaps IHatethemedia should change its name to IHatemyselfforlovingthemedia.
Wow. Nor loving either side's choices The only ones worth watching are Modern Family (the gay couple are hilarious) and Dancing with the Stars, which is also hilarious (but probably unintentionally).

Mon: Castle: Sexiest man on T.V. right now
Tues: Raising Hope. Funniest show on T.V. right now. Plus the baby is cute enough to eat.
Wed: Ghost Hunters. It's actually getting kind of scary
Thurs: The Office, but only while Steve Carrel is still on it.
Fr:. The Soup - Not nice to Sarah Palin, but make up for it by making fun of Oprah.
What's wrong with me? Of all those programs on the list, I watch only Glenn Beck and Mad Men. Most of the other programs suck and are getting suckier.
In 1961 FCC Comissioner Newton Minow famously called televison a "vast wasteland". It was true then and it's true now but the wasteland has gotten vaster in the intervening 49 years.

Ya we know. Its called the Dunning-Kruger effect. The problem with most liberals is the lack of any real knowledge (scarcity for example) that makes them talk past any sensible arguments against their rainbow&fairy plans.

I not a big fan of TV. (I HATE the Media!) The only show on either list I've seen is Beck.

Haha. With the exception of Glenn Beck and American Idol, I don't watch any of those shows. There must be something wrong with me. Oh wait, that's right I'm working 3 jobs...without a dvr I wouldn't even be able to watch Glenn and AI.
Here are my Top 7 out of the 40 in the list, after which I don't care that much. Looks like I'm 3/7 democrat leaning.
1. Dexter
2. Modern Family
3. The Good Wife
4. Survivor
5. Mad Men
6. Big Bang Theory
7. Dancing With The Stars (Yes, I really do like it)
I think the top 3 I chose are without a doubt the best shows on TV.
Checkout breaking bad. I love Dexter but I think BB is better by a small margin.
Okay, I love "Dexter." Liberals think it's all about somebody who is "damaged." I think of it as a show about a guy who eliminates the criminal scum in Miami in a very unique way and saves the taxpayers a bundle.
