If the ground zero mosque is a 'monument to peace and tolerance' how would the muslims feel if a Jewish Synagogue was built next to it? And a Buddhist Temple on the other side and a Roman Catholic Chrrch across the street and a Fundamentalist Southern Baptist church kitty corner to it?
The NY Times would no doubt come out in print and say such a suggestion is going too far and would violate the 'religious freedom' of the islamic world.

I learned a long time ago that it is impossible to talk to a liberal. The same thing that makes them susceptible to the liberal ideology also renders them incapable of seeing reason.
