Maybe one of the reasons God permits violent evil is because it allows some people to rise to heroic levels and die as heroes. Such noble people are hard not to notice in the Me, Me, Me, society.

On a similar note, apparently the Westboro Baptist church is planning to picket the memorial tomorrow. Anyone here live nearby? It would be nice for a lot of people to block these moronic clowns.

While that's funny, that is not what I'm talking about. I'm waitng for someone to really snap. Not unlike what happened in theater. Don't want to see it, but thought must have crossed more then a few minds. If someone damns the conseqences, & decides to act on impulse, it won't matter.

So we need signs that say "GOD HATES FAGS" at these funerals. Go figure, they will pay the piper someday down the road. Someone will not have any tollerence for their nonsense & not give a damn about the legal consequences. Don't know where or when, but at some point, the law of averages will kick in.

Bravo (but sad) - unlike the males at the Montreal massacre 20 years ago, where the gunman told the men to leave the classroom and they did - can't remember how many were killed (and of course it was all blamed on the lack of gun control in Canada which has more gun control than the US and the gunman was already using a weapon that was not just controlled in Canada BUT banned). I don't know how those men can live with what they did!

And he wasn't the only one to be a hero that night. A fellow Sailor also lost his life protecting his girlfriend. Thank GOD we still produce people like this and my Friend Julie, a former Soldier, who was shot trying to protect fellow classmates at NIU 4 years ago.
