Howard Dean has had “quite enough of capitalism,” thank you

Thank God for politicians like Joe Biden and Howard Dean. Sometimes, the truth just slips out of their mouths, and when we are lucky, their words are recorded for the liberal media to ignore and conservative alternate media to shout out. Today, former Vermont governor and former DNC Charmain, Dean obliged.

We had CNBC on in the background as we were writing our IHTM stories this morning and heard Howard Dean telling talk show host Jason Lewis to “stop using his talk radio voice.” Our ears perked up and then we heard one of the most honest lines ever to come out of the mouth of a liberal lawmaker yet. Here’s what he said (minute 5:00):

“I think we’ve had quite enough capitalism in the last eight years.”

Remember when the media jumped all over McCain and Palin during the election for suggesting the left and Obama were socialistic? Well…

  • Here's the deal. What conservatives aren't very good at is supporting one another. On neoliberal blogs (today's "liberal" isn't a true liberal at all), they DIGG and backlink and discuss. The groupthink elevates a topic into the national conversation.

But we conservatives niche ourselves--we have disagreements among ourselves about policy and we flock to sites we agree with. Readers at Kos and HuffPo may not agree with what they read, but they work together informally to dominate the searches. And sites like DIGG and searchers like Google tend to favor the leftwing doctrines.

I'm not sure what we do about it, but I've experienced strange receptions at some blogs where I agreed with at least 90 percent of what was written.

I've had stuff buried at DIGG too, but I figure that's because that site is run by, dominated by and prostituted by neolibs.

And don't even get me started on the Goo b.s. I am really beginning to have some serious frustration with Goo.

    best! Kay

  • Can we not just do the same thing and "bury" all of the Digged articles linked to on the Huffington Post?

  • Admin, it's being twittered all over right now. There is always one way to skin a cat :)

  • I tried digg once, didn't like it...didn't go back.

Hmmmm... idea. Why don't we be good capitalists and vote with our dollars/time and not use digg? Everytime you Digg you are making them wealthier via ad impressions.

Digging by default supports the left. Try Free Republic instead...excellent site as well and hits many conservatives.

    • We've been banned from Free Republic. We posted an article there once that had the word porn in it and the site owner banned us, even though the article didn't not have any objectionable content. The Free Republic is so old school.

We will be starting a site in the near future to outdo all of these. Stay tuned.

  • IHTM,

I am outraged at what Digg allows these people to do. There is a bury, but no unbury. No amount of further diggs will unbury it. The management are all libs and they won't fix this.

I am going to help you wage this war by emailing the article link to every one of my friends, tweet it, and put it on every social networking site I'm on. I urge all others to do the same.

I'm sick of this leftist shit.

  • Well guess what? The Bury Brigades have manage to bury yet another story of ours at Digg, just as it was getting popular. It's there, but will no longer show up on a search. Isn't it striking how afraid of free speech the left is? What happened to the democrats of yesteryear? These days they are just a pack of sniveling vermin.

Well, you leftists who are reading, the joke is on you. HotAir.com and many other big sies have picked up this story and our traffic is going crazy, much more than Dig would have given us. And now that more conservatives are reading this, I know they will strike back with yet more links to this article.

You should be ashamed to call yourself Americans. Or humans.

  • Howard Dean is a real sorry looking weasel, ain't he? Well the truth is coming out now. Democrats don't like capitalism, never have, never will. For the last 200 years the left has played dumb when it comes to acknowledging the unprecedented improvements in human living conditions blessed upon us by the philosophy of individual freedom and free trade. Ignoring every lesson in history and every shred of empirical evidence, they are hell bent on dismantling our freedoms and replacing them with a giant nanny state. It's all about power and control with these people. Always has been, always will be.

The really disgusting things is that most of these Democrat politicians have become *wealthy* with the proceeds of capitalism. Now they've made their fortunes, they want to deny everyone else the chance to do the same through their own hard work and ambition. These idiots are the exact polar opposite of everything America stands for. I despise them.

  • Amazing genes. Howard Dean's daddy was a spy for the Chicoms and his mom was a meter maid. Its all right there.

  • PLEASE READ THIS COMMENT.

There are squads of liberals that go around "burying" conservative stories. We are a target and every one of our stories that started taking off there got buried, and thousands of people, as a result, never got a chance to discover them. But we can overcome that with more Diggs, but only if before getting buried. So lets show them this time, let's DIGG this up big. Please click the Dig button and Digg it. If you don't have a Digg account, just just take a moment to create one. Don't let the left do this to conservatives.

(We know the Digg title got cut off and have asked Digg to correct it. They are usually pretty fast.)
