Nothing goes right during this 11 a.m. newscast at Channel 10 in San Diego. Absolutely nothing.

Coincidentally, the field reporter seen down at the San Ysidro border crossing is Adrienne Moore, who used to work here in IHateTheMedia.com’s town. You can’t really tell in this short clip, but she’s hot. Really hot. Unbelievably freakin’ hot.
One day back when Adrienne worked at our local TV station, the Editor’s cell phone rang. The caller, a trainer down at the local gym, said, “Hey, if you get down to the gym in the next five minutes, you can see Adrienne Moore doing bent over rows.”
It was a sad day when she left our little town to go to a big market like San Diego, but we’re happy to celebrate the glory that is Adrienne with this short snippet of what has been called the worst newscast opening ever.
(That being said, another station in our market is so bad that people organize pools and bet on how long it will take for the first mistake to occur in each newscast. Ahhh, life in a small market.)

We get this a lot with weekend warriors and I think just about every morning show. Its like they put them on in the morning when everyone is either still asleep (even at 11) or at work and not watching. After they train the production staff, the reporters and teh talking heads, THEN they get a real newscast. Someone did not get their Starbucks that morning!

Actually, I had no problem at all seeing that Adriene is a very hot young lady.
Wow. that's KGTV. they were always the second best looking SD station. Did white-hot Adreine Moore go through KSBY? KFMB always looked the bestest. (With the most curve-aliciious talking heads...) Yeah. I've had days like that too. Probably somebody's first day, with the 11:AM snoozecast not being one they would take very seriously.
That was pretty bad--I almost felt embarrassed for them... It was entertaining, though.
The sound effects and additional music only take way from the mistakes. If something is bad, it stands on its own, it doesn't need anything else. I have seen worse openings... studio lights were not turned on and the anchors were running into the studio.
I have directed worse news breaks... where every tape was in the wrong machine, and the anchor had the wrong script loaded into the teleprompter. That anchor is now on the national level of a cable channel and still as dumb as ever.
Don't tease us like that. Who was it?
