It’s all about him: President Obama says, “Don’t make me look bad” in November elections

The economy teeters on the brink of disaster. The dollar is plunging. Afghanistan is spinning out of control. But you can rest assured that President Obama has his priorities in order. And the top priority is…himself.

On Thursday he told – no pleaded – with a crowd of supporters to prove the pundits wrong by saying, “Don’t make me look bad.”

Don’t you worry about that, President Obama. When it comes to making you look bad, you are what’s known as a self-made man.

      • Yeah Perlcat, he's really got that "Construction Worker from The Village People" look going on for him.

        • of course, it could be blue darts behind him. I saw this youtube video where a blue dart ignition went awry, and the chick's pants caught on fire. I laughed until I cried. Looks like a potential Darwin Award winner.

Of course, I'm sure that ol' clear mind just cries a lot. It's been going on ever since his daddy wouldn't get him a pony and the girls in school made fun of the way he dresses and none of the boys like him, and nobody wants to eat lunch with him and that mean Billy pulls his pony tail *all* the time.

  • So... if I don't laugh at his failed attempt at levity... I am unpatriotic?! Really? Uhm... I bet anything that during the Bush years you laughed at everything and anything he said be it appropriate or not so I don't think I am going to take you seriously.

Now as to Obama, he doesn't care if these people he promotes are good people, what he cares about is that he doesn't look bad... This is yet another example of his amazing capabilities at self love.

    • Kimmy, how is it that when you say what I'm thinking it always comes out so much nicer than when I say it?

      • Xactly what I think Necron, I think Kimmy is just smarter than we are, which is alright with me, probably a lot better looking too. Kimmy, you need to run for some office.

        • :-) Nah I just think that all of us just know the truth and we all express it well it is not hard when it is the truth after all. As for running for office who knows... maybe when I am in my forties lol.

  • Glad I'm not one of you morons. Even if you don't think his humor is funny- at least realize when he's attempting levity in his speeches. Oh, and if you think making fun of the current state of things and disrespecting the President proves you righteous conservative citizens. You're wrong. It shows how vain and foolish you pseudo-patriots are. Feh. You make me ill.

    • Let me paraphrase.

      Waaaaaaaahhhhhhh!

Like I care about your opinion on the mocking we do of Obama.

As to his attempting what supposedly passes for 'levity', it is not unlike having the person who burned your house down just make a joke about having a hot time in the old town tonight. We don't think he's all that damned funny, and the attempt at humor is just as insulting as when he pretends to be serious while he's wrecking our economy and making our nation into a third world country..

I will start respecting the president when he respects his entire nation. Not before, and I certainly don't think much of your impugning the patriotism of the posters here by implying that mocking the president makes us less than patriotic. It just makes us less of a douche than you -- we can at least find the humor in what we see as a very bad situation, and not go whining about it like a needy little girl.

I'd like to know where the hell you were when they were mocking Bush?

      • Clear Mind was more than likely leading a pack of rabid libtards in mocking Bush.

That little gem about disrespecting Obongo... Obviously Clear Mind doesn't understand that respect has to be earned... it isn't just handed over with a job title. Further more, expecting respect to be given to some one who doesn't give respect in return??? Get the frack out of here.

And what's all this "pseudo-patriot" crap? He didn''t even cal us "ray-siss". Now I'm really upset!!!

  • Ah, ah, ah, ah think yah need tah sit down an shut up Barry.... Ah, ah, ah think yah need tah pack up an go back tah ken-yah.

  • He seems to have not learned that in the game of politics "stupid" is trump. And, since he appears to be playing a one-party game of solitaire, one stupid remark or action can nullify all his previous efforts. Keep talking, Barry, keep talking. Thanks to the internet the public memory is very long.

    • Thank you for the anonymous thumbs-down. That means that at least you've read my comment and it has lodged itself subversively in your mind.

Our work here is done, Tonto. ;-)

  • After November there will be a bitter White House recluse who will veto any legislation that doesn't suit His agenda, it will not be pretty.

  • Wow, your really one of the Bruthus aren't you! If that's all it takes for the illiterates to vote for you then they get what they deserve. Guess they are waiting for thier share of "Obama money".
