In the 1970s, actress Jane Fonda sat on a North Vietnamese anti-aircraft gun. Unfortunately, it had nothing to do with a dating dry spell.
Forty years later, her acts from that era have come back to haunt her when she was banished from the QVC Shopping Channel. She’s upset about it.
Big Hollywood has Jane’s sad lament:

The network said they got a lot of calls yesterday criticizing me for my opposition to the Vietnam War and threatening to boycott the show if I was allowed to appear.
Bottom line, this has gone on far too long, this spreading of lies about me! None of it is true. NONE OF IT! I love my country. I have never done anything to hurt my country or the men and women who have fought and continue to fight for us.
Jane exercised her rights (perhaps “abused” is a better term) and now is upset when others exercise theirs. As QVC shoppers might say, “Dissent is the highest form of patriotism.”
It’s so unfair – Jane does a little PR for the enemy and POWs have the nerve to remember it.

Dude, I believe you are on to something there. That would be a great addition to the pit her corpse gets tossed into. Maybe a mint or something to help with the bad taste left from breathing the air fouled with her stench. I did like her in Barbarella, though, but would much rather see Carmen Electra reprise that role, or even Britney Spears! See, even though they're both probably libcomms or completely undefined politically, they have not aided nor abetted the enemy. Plus they're both kinda cute, in their unique and insane way.
Ole Hanoi Jane may also be upset that we still do not excuse her stupidity back in her more youthful days because, her husband from that era, was elected to the U.S. House of Representatives and re-elected various times. We tried to have him impeached more than once, but the Democrats controlled the House of Representatives, so we had no luck...He was a U.S. Representative from the Great State of California.

OMG, it's Jane "Slut Saigon" Fonda my very favoritist traitor in the whole world! Someone needs to invent a blowup doll of her with various targets painted on the body. Make 'em cheap so you can sell lots of them to retired Viet Nam vets for target practice. They'll sell like pancakes! I'll even buy a dozen!
Even though I HATE this traitor, I find it low to suggest making targets of someone for that reason. She's doing a mighty fine job making people hate her all these decades anyway. If someone can kick her out of the country she hates so much, give me the plane. I'd be glad to fly it even if I have to take flying lessons for the 15-hour trip to Fondaland -- oops, I meant Vietnam.
I know and knew she was a crazy one, and I was there protecting the rights of crazies like her, but I still thought and think that she went to far with the actual aid.... Hanoi Jane, her husband at the time and her group, may have been the sds or something like that, still should be prosecuted for treason, if alive.
