Just when you thought Joe Biden couldn’t get any dumber

Holy friggin’ moly. Joe Biden never ceases to amaze. He’s the kind of politician who gives politicians a bad name.

Here he is kissing the asses of European bureaucrats by telling them that Brussels – yes, Brussels – is the capitol of the free world. And we quote:

“As you probably know, ladies and gentlemen, not only am I pleased to be back here in Brussels for the second time as vice president. As you probably know, some American politicians and American journalists refer to Washington, DC as the ‘capitol of the free world.’ But it seems to me that in this great city, which boasts 1000 years of history and which serves as the capital of Belgium and the home of the European Union and the headquarters for NATO, this city has its own legitimate claim to that title.”

And, of course, Biden has a point. The Brusselonians are famous for shedding their blood to defend the free world. One simply cannot think of the word freedom without thinking, “What’s that city in Belgium that’s synonymous with freedom?”

At least the moron didn’t bow to anyone. Not on camera, anyway.
