OK, Joe actually said this on July 4th, but it was a holiday weekend and we were busy gorging ourselves on hot dogs at our neighbors’ Independence Day barbeque and just got to this story. But in our defense, it doesn’t really matter when Joe said it because any day is a good day for a bon mot du Joe.
Biden stopped in at a ceremony at Camp Victory in Baghdad where 237 U.S. servicemen and women from 59 countries were proudly being sworn in as new American citizens.
Can you imagine what a thrilling, emotional moment that must have been for those brave men and women?
That’s when Joe Biden, the Vice President of United States of America, got up to add a few special words to the occasion.
“As corny as it sounds,” he said, “Damn, I’m proud to be an American!”

When will they start pre-determining the questions J-Biddy will be asked so that they can give him 3x5 cards with PC answers on it..Personally I hope never when he is on US soil, I like when he makes a fool of himself I just wish the media would make fun of him a little more...thats all i ask...Expose this guy for the fool he is...
I was at a firework show this last weekend and someone did karoke to "i'm proud to be an american" just before the fireworks started. I am very proud to be an american despite what is going on in this country right now and has been for the last 20 years...but I can't help but say that song is sooo bad...I wish they would have sung the National Anthem ..sorry I had to get that out dont be mad at me, I have to be honest...

Every time I read about another gaffe from Don’t mess with Joe, I stand up and honor him with a moment of silence. Actually, it is a moment of snarky laughter or a shed tear depending on the severity of the gaffe, but I do stand up and honor Joe. And by honor I mean that I pray for Divine relief from this administration and all of the evil they are bringing on us.
Have you ever told a liberal friend about all the gaffes of Biden, and how just after he a few weeks in office he'd racked up more than Bush racked up Bushisms in his two terms? I have and they are incredulous. They don't believe it. Why, because the media is not on Bidenism Watch.
They also have never heard of a teleprompter problem. Not once.
State run media.
To liberals, patriotism is corny, soldiers are losers and America is to blame. If it werent for the media and university professors, these jokers would be lucky if they could win seats on the city council.
What an insult to the fine men and women serving their country far from home, in a hostile land, in this deadly war on terror.. what an absolute insult to have this boob come and appear, let alone speak. If I were serving over there, I'd be mighty pissed at this.
I wish we could say that we are proud Joe is an American! (Well, actually I lied. I don't wish that.)
