Private Ryan goes public: Matt Damon disappointed in President Obama

Matt Damon

Oh, no. The liberal wailing and gnashing of teeth is growing ever louder in Tinseltown. Another former supporter has given up on President Obama.

Matt Damon guested on Piers Morgan’s CNN SnoozeFest and was asked if he’s happy with the way Obama is running the country.

“No.” Damon answered, “I really think he misinterpreted his mandate.”

Quoting a friend, Damon said, “I no longer hope for audacity.”

Feel free to think of IHateTheMedia.com as a friend, Matt, and quote us next time, “I was a moron and got hoodwinked by this charlatan.”

  • Come on people, he is like everybody else, awaken! They voted for the first dark skin president and didn't know that he was a socialist, a fraud using someone's social security number, using dead children's long form birth certificate., using CNN international to put fraud picture of Bin Laden and got caught doing it, etc., etc, etc, They know that he is a "fraud" and I am happy to see one of them woke up- now if Jane Fonda and Chris Matthew would get their head out of his ass- then maybe we can say "all liberals" awake from the slumber they were in.

  • Matt Damon is a f*cking moron... it is evident that he had no idea what he was voting for when he voted for Obama.
This can be seen in his highly GENERAL statement about education and testing. That was not the Obama administrations call that has something that we as Americans have been doing for about 20 years now. On top of everything education is a state by state basis, with certain regulations that allows the state to have federal funding.
Matt Damon stfu, you didnt know what you were voting for and now you are mad because YOU misunderstood him.
Also the comment on higher education Obama went to Columbia and then Harvard in a time when no other level of education, other than that of Oxford was held to such esteem. If you are mad about his policy discuss that don't use a personal attack and especially one full of holes.

  • I see Matt's wearing his "I'm a smart boy glasses" for the interview. The scary thing is that these Hollywood ditzes are unhappy that Obama hasn't f*cked up the economy even more. They don't care, they have theirs and they seem bound and determined to ensure that no one else gets any.

    • I agree with your premise but the sooner we all cease to hold Harvard, Yale, et al. out as these bastions of higher education the better off we'll be. It's obvious that no matter where this dipshit came from, or was educated, he's not as smart as he thinks he is. I have a number of degrees from institutions that are not as well thought of as Harvard but I know that I can apply what I know in a more useful manner than this sad little man. Harvard is just another college.

      • EXACTLY!!!!! Harvard et al ARE NOT the same when they first started or even 20-30 + years ago. WE DO need to stop considering Harvard as a standard of excellence. It isn't not anymore.

  • What do you expect from an actor named after a yogurt. He's running out of parts for 40 year olds playing 22 years olds.

  • I like Matt Damon as an actor, I really do, but I'd appreciate him a lot more if he just kept his Tinseltown politics to himself so I wouldn't have to be distracted by his politics when I watch any of his movies!

    • I am over him and even though I like Emily Blunt I wont be seeing his next movie... it looks stupid anyway. I liked the Bourne films but I couldnt watch the last one.

  • I think its more likely these hollyweirdos are afraid of the repercussions of supporting the socialists.
The "tea baggers" and ""Astroturfers" might hold them accountable at the box office.
Or like so many of the local liberals my neck of the woods, they are upset that obama hasn't been radical enough.

  • If Mr. Damon is a socialist, he should take any income he earns above the national median and give it to socialistic causes or charities - he should put his money where his mouth is.

    • Funny thing about Hollywood lefties:

They believe (like Michael Moore) that there's a finite amount of wealth in the country, like the stack of money that comes with your Monopoly board game.

Of course, this isn't true... as far as the country goes. However, it IS INDEED true when it comes to making a Hollywood movie. They have a set budget, and when the big star asks for $25-million, that leaves less in the candy dish for everyone else involved.

The greed of bankers can't hold a candle to the even more malicious greed of celebrities.

      • Because he'd be proclaiming it from the rooftops.

PS Putting on glasses does not make you look smart or thoughtful.
