It’s sad, really. Poor Michelle Antoinette is having a bit of difficulty accepting the fact that she’s been snubbed by real royalty. But forsooth, verily, snubbething is what they have done. Pip, pip, cheerio. (Admit it, you thought we were British there for a moment, didn’t you?)
The Daily Telegraph UK reports the regal repudiation:
Even after it was clear that Prince William and Kate Middleton would not be sending a wedding invitation to the White House, Michelle Obama still appears not to have given up hope.
“If I get invited, I’ll go,” the First Lady said on the Live With Regis and Kelly Show on American television. She conceded, however, that, as things stand, she had not been invited.
Her comments are likely to exasperate senior courtiers, who — as I reported on Nov 14 last year — had to put off naming the wedding date until a week after announcing the engagement because White House officials were not at first certain when Barack Obama and his wife would make their first state visit to Britain.
Obama’s men, adamant that the two events should not clash, subsequently agreed May 24 to 26, almost a month after the royal wedding, as the dates for his visit.
Don’t they know she is the new American royalty? Have they not heard that she’s called Michelle Antoinette? Not seen her regal demeanor? Not noticed her imperial attitude?
She’s one of them, damn it, and it hurts not to be accepted.

The Brit Royals will always maintain protocol. They are as good an ally as can be had on this jackoplanet, next to Israel. Well, they were better prior to the giant social shift there which includes the name Mohammed being the most popular for baby boys there now. So far, of the royals, only Charles has shown himself to be a good dhimmi, but that's probably due to a flair up of his dementia. The rest of the country of England seems to be on the way to sharia for all.
I do like Kate Middleton. She is a classic beauty indeed. Perhaps the Brits know exactly what they're doing not asking trashbags to this wedding.
One of our sons gets married in June. To the best of my knowlegde the Obamas have not been invited.
I'm dissapointed . I never knew my son was a racist.
I'm throwing a party next week, and I'm not inviting the Obamas.
I also shared a pack of gum with my friends at work last week, and left the Obamas out, leaving them to have to struggle by with the 30% of my income they already seize.

Moochelle said she would go if she were invited. I think that's why there was no invitation, they knew she would show up. Probably bring Oprah and Sheila Jackson Lee with her too. Sometimes the Brits get it right!
Can you feature the juxtaposition of English royalty and protocol up against the least classy American first couple ever? OMG. That would be ultraembarrasing to the citizens of the US, so I hope they NEVER get invited. I would like the Brits to think we still have SOME brains and class in this country! Elizabeth=gracious, thoughtful, very devoted to her position and the duties thereof. Moochele-loud, crass, wearing some fright of a dress and hat (OMG you don't think she would try to wear PANTS?) and standing around completely unaware of where she is supposed to be and what she is supposed to be doing. Hopefully the nave of the church is too small for the Obamas' heads, thus guaranteeing they will never be invited.
Whenever she wears pants we get pics of really bad VPL when shot from behind and usually a clear outline of her johnson when taken from the front. Why she doesn't fire the morons that let her go out dressed like she does after the battering her taste and style gets when she goes out.
They heard about how many ribs she can pack away in a single sitting and decided they couldn't afford her at the party.
No offense meant to the rest of you Yanks but I hope that Obama isn't invited at the last minute, and is Royally snubbed. It certainly stuck in my throat when he snubbed us and said the French was America's greatest ally (the French!!) when 1 in 10 British serving personnel in Afghanistan is being killed or wounded. Then of course he was also happy to give away British Trident weapon secrets (do we get our money back?) for his own political interest.
Just please remember when the Obamas come on a state visit and if the crowd boos they are not booing Americans, or America which despite a few Left wing twats Brits like, we are just booing Obama, period (as you Yanks say).
