Half of this equation is surprising, but the other half is to be expected.
Reporter Jay Barbree apparently forgot where he worked for a moment and criticized President Obama for excluding NASA employees from a speech about NASA employees. (Of course, Obama had to exclude them because they would have known he was lying about protecting their jobs).
Not to worry, though, Obama Kool-Aid drinkers. Anchor Alex Witt jumped in quickly to defend Obama and deliver the official MSNBC party line.
Barbree: But I’m a little disturbed right now, Alex. I just found out some very disturbing news. The President came down here in his campaign and told these 15,000 workers here at the Space Center that if they would vote for him, that he would protect their jobs. 9,000 of them are about to lose their job. He is speaking before 200, extra hundred people here today only. It’s invitation only. He has not invited a single space worker from this space port to attend. It’s only academics and other high officials from outside of the country. Not one of them is invited to hear the President of the United States, on their own space port, speak today. Back to you Alex.
Witt: Alright Jay I can understand why that would certainly get you a bit upset. I will say, on behalf of the Obama administration, they contend that 2500 new jobs will be created, even more, they say, than the 2012 Constellation would have created, that program. So I know all this remains to be seen, but understandably we get why you’re upset, right now. Along with many others down there. Let’s see if the President clears that up later today. I apologize for calling Jay a liar. I said I was sorry in the last post. I can aphrehend an article, I just made a mistake. I don't think that people who disagree with me are greedy hypocrites, I think that the people who were destroying the country 2 yrs ago are greedy liars and that innocent people like you are their pawns. I feel that innocent people like you would like to back up 2 yrs and let those who were in power finish what they were doing. I.E. destroying wall street, breaking banks, destroying insurance companies and systematically destroying the world economy while aquiring enormous personal wealth. Were you not watching CNN 2 yrs ago? Are you not watching Goldman Sachs now? Did you not understand the problems with AIG? Do you really feel that the country was fine under the last administration with so many facts to the contrary? Honestly do you?
Barking Dog I re listened to the video and I did miss hear the beginning. Sorry. The free and independent press still exists and even if they didn't, they still have you. What troubles me is the people who are against the Health Care Bill who will be standing in the line taking advantage of it's benefits. There are people who are complaining now but who will be glad their 24 yr old child is covered on their insurance when he has a skiing accident. There isn't one negative thing that's happened to my medical insurance or yours either. There are people who are complaigning now but who will be glad when their asthmatic child is still covered when their company changes insurance carriers or is sold. They will never come back and thank Obama for that. Yes the government is spending a lot of money, only this time it's being spent for the benefit of the American People. Expensive though it is, it is an investment in our well being. Trust me the last administration spent us into this deficit that we now have. We gave the government the money, why not spend it on us for a change? The oposition and you hate Obama so much that you are willing to leave Wall Street and the insurance companies unregulated just to get rid of him. Any entity that has the power to bring the country down must be regulated by the government. There is no way that you would let a pit bull run through your neigborhood without a chain. The insurance, banking and wall street entities have to be chained/regulated so that they cannot hurt us again. You cannot have insatiable greed and power sitting in the same chair hopng they will love the American people more than they love their greed. Greed does not operate that way. The people who are complaigning about health care reform are those that have health insurance who couldn't care less about the rest of Americans. But wait until something happens to their insurance because of the selfishness and recklessness of the past administration. I bet they and you too will be in the front of the line grabbing for those same health benefits that you now commplaign about. I can't imagine someone keeping their uninsured sick child at home because they didn't agree with the health bill. They will be at the front of the line demanding their rights. I feel that you would rather have the country on the same path it was 2 yrs ago than have this man as president. You I feel would rather go back to the same blind man and get more bad directions rather than take good directions from a man that you personally don't like. All of us have broken promises in our life because things didn't work out the way we thought. That doesn't make us liars. But an uregulated banking and insurance and health industry promising us that they will keep our best interests at heart will not be a broken promise, it will be a lie. I don't need any more proof of how these unegulated industries can destroy us if they are left to exercise their insatiable greed. If you go back to the campaign, Obama was the only one with enough courage to say that there would be more jobs lost while trying to clean up the bad directions of the last blind men in office. The last administration may love the American way, but they don't love the American people. They want to protect the American way at the expense of the American people.

Your illogic is so flawed that there is nothing else I can say. You can't even accurately comprehend a simple article without jumping to your foregone (and very wrong) conclusions that everyone who disagrees with you is a greedy hypocrite. King Obama is systematically destroying this country morally, economically and constitutionally. Would to God that he was closer to George Bush than Hugo Chavez... On one hand Jay says that Obama told 15,000 workers that if they vote for him that he would save their jobs. On the other hand he says that none of them were invited or attended the speach. Either they were there and got told this or they were not there and did not get told this. They cannot be there and not be there at the same time. The truth only comes one way. If Obama told them that he would save their jobs if they vote for him, that video would have traveled the world by now and CNN would be in overload. Their is no way that Jay could have witnessed it without the rest of the world witnessing it simultaneously. If you have to lie to make your point, then you really have no point. If you really have a point then you could stay with the truth and prove your point. It's a lie, Obama never said it, nor has he begun campaigning for a second term starting with his trip to NASA. As simple as she is, even Sarah Palin would have probably dodged this one.

It is interesting that in defense of the 9,000 jobs to be lost she boasted that Obama creates or saves 2,500. News flash...that is a net loss of jobs and he promised them that if they voted for him he'd save their jobs. Does anyone have that on tape?
