Hosni Mubarak, who was supposed to resign on Thursday night, didn’t. And he flipped a figurative middle finger at President Obama in his non-concession speech.
We know the guy’s a brutal dictator, but damn, how many times have you wished we had a president with balls instead of two First Ladies?

“We are brothers, soldiers, we have bled together for Egypt, we have shed blood together. Today, we are faced by an enemy who demands we hand Egypt over to our enemies. The people of Egypt have been silenced by these insurgents and we have been more than patient. Will we all sit here and obey the Obama regime? Will we not once again, with honor stand up to our enemies? Will we not continue to stand for Egypt with honor?
Brothers, would you have me crawl away at the command of Obama? Would any of you crawl away like a dog that has been kicked? Would any of you bow down to the fools he has chosen to take our nation from us?
I leave to you, men of honor, the fate of Egypt, the honor of Egypt and in so doing, I know you will decide that which is right and honorable. Will we now throw all that away for political expediency?”
Translation: “Screw you. I am a warrior, not a community organizer. Now shut the hell up and leave me alone.”

Listen son, the Commander-In-Chief would have to be really stupid or extremely concerned about national security to order the active US military to kill American citizens. He'd have to put aside a law and tradition called POSSE COMITATUS before he could get away with that. This legal tradition has been envoked several times throughout US history. First time was by our first president, George Washington, during the Whiskey Rebellion; the US military was often used to help round up escaped slaves; Abraham Lincoln used it at some point during the Civil War; it was used a lot during the Indian Insurrections; MacArthur was ordered to quell an 'insurrection' of disaffected WWI veterans on the Washington Mall; Janet Reno and President 'Slick Willy' abused it several times during Willy's presidency: Ruby Ridge, Waco, The Twin Towers I (1993), Oklahoma City Bombing. It's a scary thing when POTUS orders the US military to do anything. He has limited war fighting capabilities, but only because our Congress lost their balls a long time ago. Putting our troops in harms way is really a Congressional responsibility, however, under special circumstances POTUS may order US military troops to quell riots, strikes, and insurrections. The concept was made US law in 1878 but has an old English military and political tradition that goes back to the days of Robin Hood.

People think that because when you enlist in the military and you take your oath of enlistment one of the lines is "I will obey the orders of those appointed over me" and "I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States of America" The military works for the President, he is the Commander in Chief.
No Al, the US military does not 'work for' POTUS, it works for Congress and the people of this nation! Every great once in a while the POTUS gets to play with his shiny military all by himself, but not very often! It's the Congress that sends the military into war but it's POTUS's job to be Commander-In-Chief (CIC), otherwise the Military would have over 500 bosses!
This is not entirely correct. He is CIC regardless of declared state of war. Like I've described before, we watched a recruit get slapped with Article 15 for badmouthing Clinton in Basic. Sure, drill was making an example. We had to memorize chain-of-command and respect it.

Hey Al. Do you think that everyone in the military is as dense as you? Do you think that they are unable to recognize that often, the Commander in Chief is ordering them to do things that are not in support and defense of the Constitution? Things that actually go against the Constitution?
I didnt say they were all I was saying was that "this is my other name" was asking why people think that the military is a tool of the government and I was giving him a reason why I thought people thought that way. That was all.

Mubarak just resigned this morning. Maybe the U.S. government told him they were going to put him on their terrorist assassination list or something if he didn't resign. Oh, wait, you have to be an American citizen and not given Due Process to get on that list. If someone doesn't know what list I'm talking about, feel free to look it up.

Obama is so transparent. His apology tour was basically saying that the big bad USA will stay out of other nations business. Like all leftists, Obama sees every USA interference or assistance in another country as bad. However, if we look at the record he only believes this when it comes to anti-democracy countries.
Israel (democracy/ally), Obama imposes his will on them with statements of freezing settlements.
Hondorous (democracy/ally) when following their constitution Obama goes all in condemning the country in favor of a communist attempting to become dictator.
Iran (theocracy/enemy) When freedom protest are ongoing, Obama says nothing giving hard line mullahs the green light for violence against freedom protesters.
Egypt (dictatorship/ally) When muslim brotherhood incites riots, Obam sides with them against a secular ally.
See a pattern? Obama will not interfere with a country's internal politics unless it brings forth more communist or (better yet) islamic theocracy totalitarianism. If at the same time he can screw over an ally or help an enemy he will do that to hurt the USA. Communism and islamic totalitarianism have the same enemy as Obama and as such are considered friends to him.
