There’s the old story of the guy who finds his friend pounding his head against the wall. “Why are you doing that?” he asks. His friend replies, “Because it feels so good when I stop.”
Nancy Pelosi is not, apparently, smart enough to stop pounding her head against the wall.
The Daily Caller has the painful details:
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, who saw her powerful position taken from her in Tuesday’s landslide election, was adamant the day after Democrats lost 60 seats in the House that the results were not a rejection of the agenda pursued by President Obama and herself.
“Let’s understand the message,” Pelosi told ABC’s Diane Sawyer. “The message was not, ‘I reject the course that you are on.’ The message is it didn’t go fast enough to produce jobs.”
Ms Pelosi will now begin pounding her head against the wall even harder and faster.

Wow. What an amazingly strong delusional construct that she is able to maintain despite all attempts at integrating reality. In some circles (like in psych hospitals) this clinging to delusions is considered insanity.

What is that line about if it had been a snake it would have bit her. To not realize that for at least the next two years she is not going to get her way? My God! Is she "on" something?
It is not the government's job to create jobs it is the government's job to protect borders (failed on that), facilitate state to state commerce, protect us from foreign enemies and to enact laws for our protection from people who want to live outside of the law. I am sure there are other functions of the government that are very necessary BUT creating jobs is not one of them. She doesn't understand her job so she shouldnt have it.
