New study shows that almost no one trusts the media

According to a devastating new Rasmussen poll, the media blows everything out of proportion. And we mean everything.

66% think the media exaggerates swine flu. 54% think they exaggerate global warming. 61% think the media has too much influence over government decisions. 85% trust their own judgment on important matters more than the average reporter.

We took a poll around the office. We found that 100% think the media is filled with lying bags of crap who exaggerate their own importance.

Note: Sorry the sounds begins automatically. We can’t stop that from happening.

  • I trust the media... Trust them to lie and to fog the facts and have an extreme bias on many issues.

That makes them all too human. What is also all too human is for those who are sick of hearing the nonsense to shun the media as a source of meaningful insight into modern life.

You can't hold a handful of s**t under the public's noses and tell them it smells like roses from the garden of heaven and NOT expect them to turn about and just walk away from you and not want to stand there smelling your crap. If you ask them to take your crap- that is even more outrageous and more people will leave more rapidly.

The media does not pass the smell test and we don't want to take what they are handing out either.

How does the nightly news even break a story like this?

"Our lead story tonight, you the viewers now think that we the medial are a flock of lairs. Trust me, its not so. In other news, Obama is to be honored for being the greatest human ever- a merit he, without challenge, deserves totally. Socialism is the new trend for those who are really smart and the planet is hotter then ever, so no need to put on a winter coat due to the chilly winds- a bathing suit is all you need for November ."
