We’re running out of superlatives for Newt Gingrich.
First he set the record for fastest implosion of a presidential campaign by attacking Paul Ryan’s deficit plan two days after declaring his candidacy.
Then, realizing that his words had provided Democrats with advertising ammunition against Ryan and Republicans, he tried to redeem himself by making the dumbest single statement a politician has ever made.
Newt actually said, “Any ad which quotes what I said Sunday is a falsehood.”
In other words, “Who you gonna believe? Me or your lyin’ ears?”

Newt's efforts imploded. He is just being arrogant right now. He has no idea what he is doing. He may be very smart, but he has proven to be an arrogant fool.

Ease up there boy, Newt is short for Newton. One of my great-grandfathers and one brother have done the name proud. Of course, neither was named Gingrich nor politicians.
Newt is trying out Obama's "I didn't say what you heard me say because you were listening to what I said and not what I meant" gambit. Unfortunately, there are no crackerjack "journolists" living in Newt's colon (unlike Obama's where almost ALL of them reside) so he's not getting away with it.
I don't think Newt could even get dead Chicagoans to vote for him even if he paid.

He's done and too damn stubborn to face and admit it. His own ignorant words and actions have derailed any hope of ever being president.
I hope you are right. Newt is nothing, if not a PURE POLITICIAN. He has absolutely NO values or principles, except those of his immediate audience.
