The preamble of the Constitution states "...promote the general welfare..." This is quite different from "force the general welfare". Forcing vaccinations are fine for livestock but not for people. I would support the government promoting vaccinations and I would hope people would make good, informed decisions to vaccinate against virulent diseases. I am opposed, however, to the government forcing them upon anyone.
