OMG this breaks my heart. To say that it "captured the world's imagination" it captured our attention and disgust and SADNESS for his family. i don't think ANYONE though about how this affected 'freedom of the press" Does Obama hear (read) himself???? If it had been a black person being beheaded, Obama would have gone BS and sent the the 007's to do their thing. Obama is such a asswipe again, just like the time he sided with his black friend defending him from a white cops action. Which lead the only good thing of having a few beers at a beer summit (again, what a bunch of hogwash). Being Irish American (like the cop), I would have told Obama to go pound salt and have not met with him...that would have sent a stronger, better message to the fool.

Gotta disagree with you on the first point, Ron -- regardless of race, creed or color, I don't think this President has the stones to stand up to anybody, let alone retaliate for such a heinous act. Heck, this administration can't even say the words "terrorist" or "radical Islam," let alone act against them. They are just treading water until November, hoping the economy recovers enough for them to stay in power.
As for the rest, I hear you. Might prefer to have him pound sand. Wouldn't want to raise his blood pressure dangerously with all that sodium.
