President Obama closed his make-believe Nuclear Security Summit with some revealing words:
“Whether we like it or not, we (the United States) remain a dominant military superpower, and when conflicts break out, we get pulled into it.”
Rest assured, he doesn’t like it and is doing everything he can to see that our days as the dominant military superpower come to a rapid and conclusive end.
Forgive us for saying this, but Hillary Clinton was right. When that 3 a.m. call comes to the White House, Barack Obama would prefer to sleep right through it.

Obama is also the first president to skip the medal of honor dinner which is held at the time of the inauguration. What a disgrace this man is.
As a Naval Special Ops officer and Merchant Mariner, I admire the President Obama's toughness and leadership.
Under the neo-con rantings of five-deferment President DICK Cheney, whose kids never served a day in their life, the US got involved in two unfunded, two trillion dollar wars, with thousands dead, in an effort to McDonaldize Iraq. That punk Cheney lied about WMD and Al Quieda links, sending Colin Powell to the UN to put on a cartoon show. Where was the Declaration of War against Iraq? Doesn't the Constitution require a Declaration of War?
This President learned from Viet Nam that nation building and regime change never works. He's pinpointed the bad guys and sends 'em a Predator hellfire message every day. There was no need to take on 20 criminals with two trillion dollars and an occupation of 150K soldiers. It's not the military's mission to capture the hearts and minds of the occupied nation--that's for the Peace Corps. The military should have one mission only: kill people--and lots of 'em. Instead, our soldiers are forced to build schools and hand out candy bars. Bullshit.
Bin Laden's goal was to terrify and bleed us financially. Mission accomplished. We're broke, our equipment needs repair, our soldiers are hanging themselves, literally, in record numbers, from the constant stress, pathetic Rules of Engagement and zero job training once they get home. Where is the corporate training? When I got home, I got kicked in the balls by my old employer: my military background was a hindrance, rather than a help. The boss, a devout neo-con, gave my job to his candy-assed kid, who couldn't make it through the first day of basic. Rather than the Nation of July the 4th, we've become the Nation of 9/11. Many Americans live in a fear perpetuated by Mullahs Limbaugh and Roger Ailes--fat slobs that never served a day in their lives.
Obama, unlike G. Bush (who locked on to his Daddy's money and influence) came from dirt--like Reagan, Clinton and Truman. Obama, unlike the pussy G. Bush, who, during Viet Nam, and thanks to his Daddy, protected the shores of Texas from invasion, has never claimed or tried to be Mr. Military. I find that refreshing. Obama is what he is. Unlike Cheney, Limbaugh, Rove, Dick Morris and Ailes , Obama isn't a wannabe military jack-off. Is there anybody out there that believes ANY of those fat-assed, morbidly obese pukes could make it through basic?

Ever since he declared that graduating Marine cadets could not have real swords in his presence he has done nothing but spit on the honor and tradition of our military. It is disgusting.
The man sees them as mindless tools and nothing else, I have no doubt.
I guess he doesn't want us to be the Big Bully that liberal progressives believe the US to be. He wants the WHOLE WORLD to love us so it is better to be loved than feared. Hence get rid of the things that the world doesn't like about us like military power. However most of the world doesn't respond well to bows and let's be friends talk. Those things represent weakness, Islamic countries in general do not value weakness at all. They may resent power that is on someone else, but they at least respect/fear that person and thus keep things all together equal or under control. Once they smell weakness they go for the jugular without any consideration of a desire to "be friends" on the other party's part. The thing is that even though the US does have military and political might it ALSO has charitable strength more than any other country before it in the history of the planet. So it balances itself out, but I guess not enough for the progressives.
