Just when you thought things couldn’t get any worse for the 21 century’s answer to Jimmy Carter, along comes this poll from Rasmussen:
Forty-eight percent (48%) of U.S. voters now regard President Obama’s political views as extreme. Forty-two percent (42%) place his views in the mainstream, according to a new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey.
By comparison, 51% see the views of Secretary of State Hillary Clinton as mainstream. Thirty-five percent (35%) think Clinton’s views are extreme. Fourteen percent (14%) are undecided.
There you go, President Obama – your legacy. You’ll go down in history as the first person who ever made someone as liberal as Hillary Clinton look mainstream.

Am I the only one creeped out by The One watching Hillary?
She could be on the other side of a stadium and he seems like he'd zero in on her like a laser beam.
That and his friggin' chin up Il Duce pose makes me lose my lunch!
I am just shocked that Hillary has lasted the summer. I thought for sure she would resign and then her "campaign" for 2012 would begin.
These polls are so misleading. 48% say extreme and 42% say mainstream. Who are these 42%? Dead people? My best friend's wife is a bluer-than-blue Head Start-lovin' Republican-hatin' uber-Liberul womyn. She shocked the hell out of me last week in saying, "I think maybe he's gone a little too far." My jaw nearly hit the floor. This from a woman who NEVER has backed down in any of our political discussions/arguments. Definitely not in the 42% anymore. I'd bet this poll number is truly in the low 30's---maybe less.
Democrats see dead people...
...as a legitimate voting bloc to be registered.
Interesting thing to ponder: If Hillary had made it as President, would she have been smart enough to take things a little slower, and not outraged the masses enough to get them off their couches. We would have likely had the same programs eventually, but she would have eased the icepick into our hearts a little more slowly and delicately.
Obama & crew, however, go for the Chicago style power play, and ram (Rahm?)as much down our throats as possible, as quickly as possible. They are WAY too stupid to know how to really do this, but go for blunt force trauma to the country.
Is it possible that I'm somehow grateful that it is Obama, who is so extreme and vile that the masses are incited to rise up and reject him and the Dem/Lib/Progressives en masse? Could it be true that this may be the best way to really set back progressivism? I'm such the eternal optimist to even consider such a thing.

Actually, those numbers aren't too shabby considering Obama is 3000% Marxist.
Hillary will be the liberals "Big Gun" post Obama.
Historically Hitlary has always been in the front of things, until Obama that is. She has avoided almost every issue and the liberal propaganda machine leaves her alone, she is protected and kept out of sight to shield her from Obama and any taint she may incur.
That tells me the libs are going run Hillary as the next "democratic" presidential hopeful.
