Our friends at IOwnTheWorld.com (we’ve traded emails with them and in today’s digital world that’s what’s called a deep, meaningful relationship) put out this hilarious video analysis of President Obama’s golf swing.
To summarize: Keep your eye on the ball, maintain your balance, keep your legs slightly bent, keep your hands slightly in front of the ball upon impact, hold on to your cell phone.

Mofo sways too much in his swing, changing his swing plane. No wonder he misses the ball
Simple answer: Sissy
He probably sucks at basketball, too. I've only seen still shots...not that I'm looking for pictures of Obama. I imagine he walks 3 point line to 3 point line (never drives to the hoop, never ever boxes out or rebounds. bad dribbler bad shot bad defense, etc.) You never see pictures of the other guys playing (they're wearing blind folds). He probably got stitches because the pass went through his hands
We ran a photo of The Dribbler in Chief sometime last year. As I recall, he was going up for a shot over a fat, white guy. I would assume he chooses his opponents very carefully.
In your response to Mistella you claimed I called you a marxist. Go back and read again, I said to go to marxist web sites, because it seemed that this one was too critical of your boy obama. I don't consider myself a down the line Republican either, I differ with them on things like religion, I'm non religious, abortion, crack heads shouldn't be having kids period and niether should someone that's not going to love the kid. And conservation, I'll take a Spotted owl or a rare fish or tree over a housing track any day. But one place Republicans and conservatives have it all over liberals is telling the truth and knowing good from evil.
So tell me I'm wrong, your not a liberal? You are so obvious.
You're wrong. I'm not a liberal. I consider myself a nonpartisan moderate who votes for an individual, not a party. I have voted Pawlenty for governor of the great state of Minnesota twice, and I hope to see him run for president in 2012. But I have also voted democrat in the past.
I'm so embarrased, you showed me how to compose a post correctly. You knowm what jackass, your a typical liberal and those that I care what they think know why I said that. Don't care what you think of my writing style or skill. It's obvious that you have a strange man love thing for obama and get sorta flustered when you read the posts here so maybe stick to the huffinblow and other marxist sites so your head doesn't blow up.
Haha, thanks for proving my point.
Funny thing, this blog post is about golf, not political ideologies. I said nothing about how I feel about social policy, economics, or foreign policy yet you still come up with this image of me as some radical Marxist/Socialist/Fascist. (Funny how people use all of these terms interchangeably).
Really, is this what our political (not to mention golf) discourse has come to? An individual can't even make a positive comment about Obama's golf swing without being given some nasty, emotionally charged label?
John,
The terms ARE interchangeable for those of us that cherish freedom. At the end of the day, it's all about power and control of the masses.
Golf swing? Who cares - this site is conservative and pokes fun at liberals. Just like liberal sites poke(d) fun at Bush's bushisms.
The opinion of this 58 year old high school dropout that has made (and lost) a couple of fortunes in a society that values education above everything else (honesty, dependability, bravery, valor, etc.), is that most people, ESPECIALLY LIBERALS, are way too thin skinned.
If you gonna be a-typin' here my friend, better be able to take a punch once in a while, knowwhatImean?
Besides, 100 years from now, none of this caca will amount to anything. We'uns ain't as important as we think we are.
Mistella,All I'm saying is that it's absurd to use the term Marxist and Fascist to describe someone; the two terms are diametrically opposed to each other. It's a common theme I see with the Tea Party movement, but I'll drop it since nobody on this blog has made the same mistake.
The fact is this: the other John called me a Marxist based on my opinion of Obama's golf swing. Really dude?! I'm not thin skinned, but I'm going to stand up for myself when somebody gives me a dishonest label.
In regards to the golf swing. I don't care! I'm all for making fun of Obama. I think his whole self-righteous approach to the political process is much more hysterical than one errant golf swing. To each his own, I guess. I was merely making a comment about the fairness this video; NOT my political opinions. If anybody on this blog took the time to ask me about that, they'd probably come to the startling conclusion that I too value honesty, dependability, bravery, and valor.
Don't anyone confuse me with that last John that commented, he seemed to get lost in the middle of an idea and go on to something else. John are you saying you know anything about golf? That was not the same video repeating itself, and anyone that really does golf will tell you he sucks big time.
Nope, I'm not lost. Three separate ideas; three separate paragraphs. Unlike you comment which is one paragraph filled with numerous (admittedly flawed) ideas.
"That was not the same video repeating itself, and anyone that really does golf will tell you he sucks big time."
Now here's an example of a sentence composed by someone who has obvious problems with the English language.
Nice try. Reply after you're able to read at a 5th grade level and have at least opened a copy of Strunk & White.
"Obama doesn’t even golf that much"
Stop, stop! You Obama defenders are killing me! ROTFL!
You're taking my quote out of context. You conveniently left out the rest of my sentence. Obama plays golf a lot. It's true. What I'm saying is this: Ike averaged 100 games per year during his time in office. That's more than Obama. I'm not defending his time on the course, and, quite frankly, I think he should spend more time focusing on his job than his back swing. So quit twisting my words to mean something else.
That being said, Bush II spent 490 days on his Crawford ranch and 487 days at Camp David. That's a grand total of 1,020 vacation days. Bush spent more days on vacation than Kennedy spent in office! How many vacation days did Obama take in his first year in office? 26.
John, I've held back saying this, but you truly are an idiot aren't you? The Crawford Ranch was a working ranch, a virtual White House II for Bush. On the other hand, a golf cart does not come equipped with even a desk.
"I’m not defending his time on the course." Really, then why did you have to through in something about Ike, so Obama could become the #2 golfer (not in terms of skill) and Ike is #1. That's defending.
You see, with Obama, you also have to look at the entire picture. Between the golf, the trips, the parties, and his biggest waste of time -- thinking he's a TV actor, CONSTANTLY on TV, in campaign mode -- he's rarely really working anywhere.
Update: This is funny! Seriously, while I was keying last paragraph at around 6:40am PST, CNBC just announced Breaking News and it was Obama giving a short speech! LOL! But, I'm happy he's doing it--the most he talks the more America turns against him and is radical ideas.
This video is ridiculous. It's the same swing repeated over and over again. Bad swings happen to the best golfers in the world, as anybody who has played golf will tell you.
Why does he have a slightly above average (let's look at all the footage and honestly analyze Obama's swing) when he golfs so much? Well... golf is an incredibly difficult sport. Bottom line.
One more thing.. Obama doesn't even golf that much, historically speaking. Ike, during the final year of the Korean war, averaged 100 rounds of golf per year!
He golfs more then I do, & he's the effing President. What's worse, he sucks at both. Ike was a better President, a better golfer, & he was respected by our military, plus he has a tree planted in his honor at Augusta National. That's hard to beat.
