Obama reveals that he’s not Muslim, not Christian, but pagan

Please prepare our places in the Bloggers Hall of Fame, because we’ve managed to squeeze two stories out of a single presidential sound bite.

“When I woke up this morning and I’m shaving, and Malia knocks on my bathroom door and she says — did you plug the hole yet, Daddy?” he said, recounting how often he thinks of the spill, adding, “I grew up in Hawaii, where the ocean is sacred.”

He was, we assume, referring to his childhood worship of Kanaloa, the Hawaiian god of the ocean.

So relax. It looks like Michelle won’t have to be fitted for a burkah after all. But look for the President to show up to his next press conference in an Aquaman costume.

  • Wow you guys really stretched this out like what three stories out of this? LOL.

Yeah it is an odd way of phrasing that you do say I was born and raised or I am from or I am originally from suggesting birth and being raised there. Overall if you are born one place but raised another you would say I was born in this place but raised in another place.

    uhm...

He wont sacrifice himself he has no idea what real sacrifice is like.

He is not a Christian, he could have Muslim affinities but I am not sure if he is a radical environmentalist (earth mother pagan) at heart either. I think he worships at the church of himself. Whatever is good for Obama he clings to that until he has to cling to something else.

  • Does it matter? Pagan, Mulimi both can be a threat to our freedom if we're not careful.

  • Good. Perhaps the president can sacrifice himself to Pele by jumping into a volcano and save us all his grief.

  • Funny how he says "I grew up in Hawaii". I find the wording strange for someone supposedly BORN and RAISED there. Maybe it's no big deal and lots of people use this wording for a place where they were BORN AND RAISED, but I've never once said "I grew up in the Carolinas". I always say, "I'm from the Carolinas" or "I wa...s born and raised in the Carolinas". Is this a Freudian slip for Obama? Is he deliberately disassociating himself from being BORN in Hawaii, as opposed to just "growing up" there? Ah, these and many other mysteries remain.
