Contrary to what 234 years of history may say, President Obama said Thursday that when it comes to American citizenship, “It’s not a matter of blood or birth.”
According to the new Obama definition of citizenship, anyone – everyone, really – on the face of the earth is an American if they simply have ‘”faith” and our “shared values.”
The problem with this definition is that we know we don’t share this guy’s values and considering the fact that he sat in Reverend Wright’s church for 20 years, we’re reasonably confident we don’t share his faith.
Does that mean we’re not Americans?

You dont spend 1 . 6 million dollars to seal and suppress certificates and documents , unless you have something to hide .
It's really simple, Obama should have to produce his birth certificate, PERIOD.
I honestly don't believe he is constitutionally qualified to be the President, I don't believe he was born in Hawaii. I believe he is from Kenya, & until I actually see the birth certificate, I won't change my mind.
Also, it is on him to prove he was born in the USA, not those trying to find out. If that makes me a "birther", fine, but I'n not wrong until he proves he was born here.
He should just blame Bush, and wait to see what happens......

You can be a citizen without being born here nor be the child of an American citizen, that ist true. It is called the naturalization process. It is a long and expensive enterprise and nowhere no one told me that I could be a citizen if I JUST shared the same faith and the values of other American citizens (which in essence I do). If it was that easy then why did I spend so much time and money? I want my money back then...
Obviously he wants to say that illegals who come into this country and who share the same faith and values of the country are instant American citizens. There is nothing else that I can think of that would explain what he means. It is of course stupidity. I can tell you right now that no other country has such standards for their process of naturalization. He wants gullible instant american citizens because he cannot convince those that came here legally that he is their savior. Disgusting.
Actually, I agree with Obammy on this one. Real Americans are proud of our heritage, while accepting we have made some mistakes. Real Americans love freedom, opportunity, self determination, freedom of assembly, freedom of speech and the right to bear arms to protect us from a government gone crazy.
Based on the above, Mr. Obama ain't no American, whereever he was born.

However, the thing is that in my opinion he is intimating that ANYONE can be an american if they just have faith and share values regardless of their being here illegally. So it is morally correct to provide amnesty for those that are here illegaly since their coming here is an acceptance of this faith based shared values which is of course BS.

I think it is now acceptable to simply say "Obama" in mixed company instead of bulls**t. And that ain't no Obama either.
Funny how he always seems to forget those inconvenient truths like -Father a Kenyan ( British) citizen, mother too young to convey American citizenship, invisible birth certificate.
I also note that out Fearfull Leader forgot that among our "shared values" is living by the rules of the US Constitution, which states in part " President....shall be of NATURAL BIRTH". Darn, another inconveninent truth. Guess he must not share that value. Wonder which ones he does share?
