“I’m concerned” is a multipurpose phrase politicians use as a substitute for everything from “I’m pissed” to “I don’t really know anything about that subject.” In the case of Florida Senator George LeMieux, it means the former.
He told President Obama that he’s concerned because there are only 20 oil skimmers ready for action in Florida while 2,000 others site idle in other parts of the country.
As LeMieux tells the story, “He said to me, some of these skimmers from other places in the country we can’t take because they may need them for an oil spill.”

This oil spill and the amount of people that have lost their jobs forever and their lives, makes me so sad I could cry. This President does not care. He was to destroy this country, piece by piece. We as Americans, have to join together in strength to see that this is his last term. What did our fore fathers back in 1776 fight and die for. Nothing?? They would roll over in their graves to see that this President is taking this wonderful country, USA, down the road to destruction. He does not care. All he cares about is Is his own power and control of the USA. He DOES NOT CONNECT WITH THE VERY DAY CITIZEN, THAT IS FORCED TO CUT BACK AND SACRIFICE JUST GET BY THESE DAYS. WE NEED TO STAND TOGETHER AND MAKE SURE THAT WE ELECT REPUBLICANS ARE ELECTED TO THE CONGRESS AND SENATE SEATS UP THIS NOVEMBER FOR THE ELECTIONS THEN. I hate to even think this, but this oil spill is convenient for Obama. I think that is why his efforts have been minimal.
Beck explained that he is not allowing foreigners to help out because it will take over jobs from union and union members and the greedy unions want those jojbs, even if they suck at it. He also explained that Barack is looking out for his pal Soros (and possibly future moolah once he retires from office) by making sure that enough time has passed for these rigs to be moved out of the country and for them to be used by other oil companies like Petrobas. If the oil spill is cleaned up effectively and quickly, there would be no "moral" reason to stop drilling. it is disgusting.

People are losing jobs and there are offers of help and then the govt comes in and STOPS it. Because this is the government we are talking about...they can't actually do anything to help. They just make things worse and then point to their own failure as proof that we need more of their intervention. We need to stop looking to government for anything and everything and start doing it ourselves. The resources and manpower are out there somewhere.

I agree. This is dereliction of duty. Also this could be considered battery or some form of violence against people in general and individuals. If an individual did not assist a person in need and they were in the capacity to bring assistance that is called a violation of the Samaritan law right? By not allowing all possible mediums of assistance, the President is in violation of that.
