Who’s the idiot? While Olbermann calls Palin an “idiot,” MSNBC on-screen graphic misspells “you’re”

Ahhh, those rascally radicals at MSNBC. Perhaps they should have spent more of their college careers studying and less time protesting.

While Keith Olbermann was naming Sarah Palin “The Worst Person in the World” and “an idiot”, the ace graphics department at MSNBC misspelled the word “you’re” in an on-screen graphic.

Olbermann: She continued, “I’m glad to be here on the president’s home turf. Somebody told me ‘you know, you’re going into enemy territory. I said it’s Chicago, it’s not MSNBC.’ That woman is an idiot. And the event at which that idiot spoke was sponsored by an Illinois firm that specializes in battery-operated back-up sump pumps. Not just a sump-pump political event: it was a back-up sump-pump political event. Moreover, to put it plainly, and this is a matter of record, that woman does not have the courage, personal or political, to appear on MSNBC. Not without and army with her, and I mean that literally. the half-governor of Alaska now celebrating two years without holding an actual news conference or having the guts to appear on a network like this one. But the toast of America’s back-up sump pump political circuit. Today’s Worst Person in the World.

Let us spell this out for you, Keith. Your a vile human bean.

  • I see this kind of crapola all the time on TV. Especially in the ticker tape/banner that runs across the bottom of virtually all stations. It's what happens when people rely on spell check for everything. Spell check is NOT grammar check!
I always made my kids look up words in the dictionary (that was before Al Gore invented the internet) and prohibited them from using spell check, although I'm sure they did use it at times, but by then, they hadn't relied on it like a crutch.

Calculators and spell check...the death of American education.

  • I'm sorry the idiot is gone. Besides being vile, vengeful and hyperventilating most of the time, sometimes he was entertaining. He reminds me of the brat next door who cries daily because he is an idiot.

    • He seems like the type of person who might have trouble finding things to & might become more of a mess then he was before. Not having anything to do could become a problem here. Something to watch out for.

  • If Sarah is such an "idiot" to Herr Olberdork, why does he keep talking about her? It's like he's fascinated that she's so popular and he's not.

Either there is nothing worth while to trumpet about the present government or he's secretly loves her and is acting out a schoolyard crush.

Or maybe he's jealous that she is brave enough to put herself in front of live audiences while he cowers in the MSBMC studios?

  • I bet Sarah goes on MSNBC before Obamanation goes on Hannity or one of the other Fox shows.

  • hey there keith when was the last time the annointed one had a press conference? your lord obama can throw a mean party (at taxpayer expense) and shoots a mean 100+ golf game but don't have much time to talk to the press either. he's the president. she's just a citizen.

  • Would either person who watches Olbermann know the difference between your and you're? Oh wait, with Campbell Brown having some free time it could mean three people watch KO .

    • Being a nerd, I'm forced to calculate their human equivalence in brain power; that equals about .002 people watching MSNBC--with Campbell Brown, that is.
