On Monday Nevada filed 39 felony criminal complaints against ACORN. On Thursday the House of Representatives voted to allow ACORN to receive federal funding under the “Mortgage Reform and Anti-Predatory Lending Act.”
The vote to make ACORN eligible for funding was 245-176. All Democrats on the side, all Republicans plus four honest Democrats on the other.
“There is no excuse this outrage. The only explanation for voting to give money to this racket is that House Democrats are deep in the pocket of ACORN,” said a statement from GetLiberty.org.
As a result of the House vote, ACORN is eligible for more than $3 billion in “stimulus” money plus another $5.5 billion from the 2010 budget. The organization has already received at least $53 million from American taxpayers since 1994.
ACORN has also been investigated for voter fraud in state after state – including Ohio, Indiana, Wisconsin, Nevada, New Mexico, North Carolina, and Missouri, Pennsylvania, Washington, and Michigan.
39 felony counts? What’s the big deal? Who among us hasn’t been charged with 39 felony counts at one time or another?

Is there any group out there less deserving of our tax dollars than ACORN, which has been shown to be a front for all kinds of illegal activity, all in the name of "diversity"? This has included fraudulent voter registration, encouraging people to lie to obtain government benefits (caught on tape), paying their employees outrageous salaries--but they're of course all Obama supporters, so of course the Dems feel obliged to support this band of thieves.
This little vignette is a vivid illustration of everything that we have to fear with this Administration and its sycophants--a sleazy coalition of way left and obviously corrupt "community organizers", already overpaid public employee unions seeking even more outrageous benefits, pro-terrorist pro-Islamic lefties, anarchists/revolutionaries (see Van Jones appointment!), and financing it all, fat cat trial lawyers who have stolen billions from hosptals, doctors, and the public treasury.
And this is the group with the uber-liberal media blindly supports!

People, you do not have to be a constituent to call these myopic morons and tell them how stupid their vote is. If we don't start lighting up the switchboards, and filling up email boxes with our view, then many of these a$$ clown incumbents will continue to follow their leaders and drag us all over the cliff with them. Wake up, and get to work.
