OSAMA BIN LADEN IS DEAD

If you’ve got your TV on you know by now that Osama bin Laden is dead and the U.S. has his body. The news is breaking and President Obama is about to address the nation. We thought we’d open up this thread for readers to discuss what’s going on.

        • Well now, hello Mz. Newman long time no see. Or is it Ms., Mrs., Ma'am, Madam, whatever the politically correct term is these days when we address a lady we don't know, greetings anyway.

          I have to know, being the natural born smartass I am, how do you know what a SEAL smells like in the morning?

  • How nice. We honor him by giving him a proper burial (according to his religious beliefs). By order of whom? Don't offend the Muslim Brotherhood by hanging his burning corpse from a bridge. PC for Bin Laden now, too? Ah, what's the world come to? Look at us.

    • Where are the outcries from Muslims that he didn't deserve a Muslim burial because he wasn't a real Muslim? Beck said a friend said it (who is a Muslim) but so far I haven't heard overwhelming amounts of Muslims stating that he wasn't a real muslim hence his muslim burial was wrong... If he had claimed to be a Christian I can assure you that we would be complaining if someone mentions that as a Christian he should be buried in a Christian cementary. This is the thing so called moderate Muslims may deny him as a Muslim, in the safety of their homes, but overall Muslims will not decry his burial because they considered him a Muslim. This is why when they tell me it is a religion of peace, I refuse to believe it. Their fundamentalist representatives are crazy and the so called moderate ones are mute when they shouldn't be mute.

  • So, I have a question. And this is one that I will be asking of my indoctrinated niece. Since the liberal media blamed the killings of innocents by Muslims on the Rev. Jones, for burning the Koran, will they have the balls to blame the soon-to-come revenge killings on the Seal Team, or maybe on Obama, since he obviously ok'd this operation?

    • It is an American victory, a soldier's victory more importantly, because they are fighting and dying because of this now dead man. And they do so with or WITHOUT pay from their Commander and Chief. (who wasnt sure he wanted to pay them a few weeks ago, remember.) Any President would sign an executive order like this one. Gently reminder her of that.

      But if she wont listen, heres another therory;

      Since he was slipping in the polls, they defrosted Bin Laden, dumped his body at this "mansion" and Obama gave an executive order to draw a map for the seals. X marked the spot for the pirate king. BawwHahaha! :)!

      All jokes aside, to our Armed Forces who do the real unglamorus work, WEll DONE!!!!!!

    • RHG I feel for ya. You're fighting the years of indoctrination, like you wrote, which is going to be like trying to bring someone back from the dark side. There's always a chance. If you love her it's an important investment. You can do it.

  • My niece, who is attending college in PA, has of course been indoctrinated into believing all the little liberal lies. I'm working on her, but it's difficult from such a distance. So last night, she sends me a text along the lines of, "Obama killed bin Laden. Now you HAVE to like him." So I asked her if she would have respected Bush if bin Laden had been taken on his watch. "No, Bush is an asshole. He destroyed this country's economy, and Obama can't fix it because Congress won't let him."

    I'm going to try to get her to start reading this site daily, to help with her deprogramming. I just hope it isn't too late.

    • No offense but your niece needs a lobotomy of the soul and that is going to take time and tons of patience. I feel for her. The only hope I have is that she will grow out of it the moment she is out in the real world and she has to pay for her own bills and take care of things that mommy and daddy shouldn't take care of.

      • Your'e right KQ. Oftentimes adulthood and the real world often fix liberalism. Many dabble in it in their youth, but figure out that it just doesn't cut it in the grownup world.

  • I want pictures. I just like to have verifiable evidence. His burial was too good for him as far as I am concerned. Like I have said time and time again around here, justice will always be served one day or another or in the next life. I am sure that Hitler and Osama have a lot to talk about. I am also sure that demons will be happy to rape him as he hoped to raped virgins in his whacko version of Paradise.
