Patrick Moore, one of the founders of Greenpeace and author of a new book titled “Confessions of a Greenpeace Dropout” is the newest global warming heretic.
He doesn’t have too many nice things to say about the radical organization he left behind.

Legacy. Regardless of what he says GreenPeace is out of his hands and it is now his legacy. If he is ashamed of it okay fine I am not going to hate. It is better for him to see the truth now than never see the truth AND share it.
A lot of what he says is correct especially about the alarmist nature of the government and individual response to this crap.
If environmentalist for him means (true) stewardship of the use of the Earth that is great.
I heard all this same nonsense in the late 1960's and early 1970's, only it was globull cooling that was going to kill all life on the planet. I have not met an eco-freak yet that was not supported by his/her parents or the gooberment. They do not know how to do anything on their own. Most of them are college graduates, majoring in the arts, farts, and other useless fields of "knowledge". Most of them have never had a real job in their life, refer to the statement above about parents and gooberment, so have no real idea of what is going on in our country or our world.
And politicians know this! Why do you think they prey on the weak minded fools that believe everything their "teacher" or college "professor" tells them? Gooberment institutions teaching children what they believe instead of teaching the kids how to read and write, how to think for themselves. My great-grandmother, who taught school 60 years, and my fathers parents, who taught school 40 years, are screaming from their graves at how politics has screwed up the education of our kids today.
So, he's now ashamed of the monster he helped to create. A bit late now, isn't it? The damage is done, but no doubt he'll make a bob or two (or, buck or two, in the USA) from his book.
Good thoughts are all very well, when used in hindsight...
Kinda like "the road to hell is paved with good intentions?" A monster has been created and ain't going away without a mighty crash! The snakeoil salesman pushing CAGW crap have staked countless millions of dollars and their very careers on the myth of Gaia. Many scientists in climate-related fields cannot get grants for research unless they advocate for anthropogenic (man-made) global warming. Which is it? Are they scientists or environmental advocates?
HUH! ... IMAGINE THAT! ... GO FIGURE!
