This is friggin’ hilarious. We wish this is how the passing of the gavel from Nancy Pelosi to John Boehner had really happened.
How do they do this stuff? No, seriously, can someone explain how they do a video like this?

eeww. getting a "blessing" from her... I would pass. The videos are funny, predictable of course, but that is part of the fun.
This sort of stuff is a wonderful reminder of why this country is so great. Coming from an part of the world , where one leader took over by killing the previous leader this is great to see... even though there is obvious hypocrisy.
She really spoke to much too. Did anyone time how much? If Boehner spoke less that has to said.
Too freakin' funny! Love both versions!
Right wing extremist and their violent tendencies again...
BRAVO! hit it again.
Oh and NOW she believes in God?
Bet she believes in the Constitution all of a sudden to, the witch!
Not that long ago Pelosi said "We (liberals) don't like the military", Now "they" support the troops..just as suddenly.
I can't understand where pelosi gets her power, can pandering to the San Fransisco homosexuals really empower her to a level that makes other elected officials fear her that much?
BWHAAAAAAAAAAAAAaa
Thanks...gotta wipe the coffee off my screen now.
That's what she gets for mis-pronouncing his name! She couldn't resist calling him boner.
LOL!!! This has got to be one of the funniest media shorts I've seen this year. Great job and many kudos to whomever is rsponsible!!! I would have used something else on that Catholic wannabe, botox blowfish, but the gavel animations in both the YouTube short and Jay Leno's rendition are superb!
Don't show this to John, he doesn't understand approbation. Poor boy, he thinks it just rhymes with something else.
And here's one that Jay Leno did:
I'm not an animator but I remember watching something about how they make southpark. There's some software out there that can animate with vectors like the old flash maker from like 10 years ago. It allows animation to be done pretty fast. My guess is they take a single screen capture, assign vectors to his arm components, set a few waypoints in the animation and let it go. So its not like someone has to photoshop every frame.
