Pentagon bans farting in Afghanistan because it offends the natives. In other words, do not allow the Dogs of War to howl. Odd, is it not, that a country shrouded in the stench of camels and goats should be offended by odors that pale in comparison?

What's the difference when they (the gannis) run around in bed sheets with a loaded diaper on all day? I personally wouldn't mind putting my tail about 2 inches from their face and letting go with a good beer and boiled egg flatulent discharge and reminding them that's what their odiferous cologne smells like.
Interesting... it wasn't even two weeks ago that my Mother told me that she couldn't stand the smell of the Afghans. She didn't mean it in a bad or cruel way. It is just a matter of fact that they stink. I find this to be hilarious in the context of knowing that all in all their smell is so bad that it can actually give people headaches. Their culture is gross thanks of course to the Taliban. I think it is funny that they would find farting repulsive seeing how they treat one another, their women and children.
This is a futile effort on the part of the Pentagon. You can't legislate away good humor.
However, it's comforting to see that the Pentagon is consistent. Over 40 years ago, it was a court martial offense to put a round in your weapon until after the Viet Cong/NVA fired on you first. Apparently the theory was that if your weapon wasn't loaded then you couldn't accidently hurt anyone.
I wonder if they had rules like that at Normandy or Iwo Jima?
At least the fart ban won't get you killed.
They better not even think of sending Barney Frank over there!
The only assholes they want speaking are their "religious" leaders.
